A crash occurred late on New Year’s Eve in the Bang Bon district of Bangkok, claiming the lives of two men. The incident, involving a collision between a pickup truck and a motorcycle, took place at approximately 23:10 on Bang Bon 5 Soi 1 in Bang Bon Nuea subdistrict.

 

Emergency responders from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation were called to the scene shortly after the accident and found the aftermath of a devastating crash.

 

Upon arrival, rescue workers discovered a white Ford pickup truck, bearing Bangkok registration, which had collided with a roadside utility pole. Beneath the truck lay the body of one of the victims, a man who had been crushed under its wheels.

 

Nearby, a severely damaged green Honda motorcycle, registered in Samut Sakhon, was found at the base of the utility pole. The second victim, another man, was discovered lifeless beside the wreckage.

 

Initial identification revealed that the victims were Thai nationals aged 43 and 44. Their bodies were retrieved and sent for post-mortem examination, while their families were being notified.

 

The circumstances leading to the collision remain under investigation by officers from Bang Bon Police Station. Preliminary findings suggest that the motorcycle was traveling along Bang Bon 5 Road when it was struck by the pickup truck, which then veered off course and subsequently hit the utility pole.

 

Authorities are working to determine whether excessive speed, alcohol consumption, or other factors contributed to the fatal crash. Witnesses in the area are being interviewed, and security camera footage from the vicinity is being reviewed to piece together the sequence of events.

Which man on the motorcycle?  There were two.   How do you know who was the "drunk fool", killing others?
