Popular Post Georgealbert Posted January 1 Popular Post Posted January 1 Picture captured from CCTV from Facebook. A heated altercation between a tour bus driver and a Bolt ride-hailing driver over parking issues escalated dramatically when the tour bus driver intentionally rammed the SUV, leaving it damaged. The incident occurred outside a hotel in North Pattaya on 30 December at around 08:20. The incident, captured on video and shared widely on social media shows the white tour bus reversing, then driving into the orange SUV, seemingly out of frustration. The footage has sparked public outrage, with many condemning the use of violence over a parking disagreement. The altercation reportedly began when the Bolt driver, identified as Mr O, 35, parked his SUV near the hotel lobby to pick up a passenger. The bus driver, attempting to turn into the hotel’s parking area, became agitated when he found the SUV blocking the way. According to Mr O, hotel staff alerted him that his vehicle was obstructing the bus, prompting him to return to his car. Despite moving the SUV to make space for the bus, the bus driver continued to shout profanities and confront Mr O. Witnesses say the argument intensified, with the bus driver allegedly attempting to physically confront Mr O, only to be restrained by bystanders. Moments later, the bus driver returned to his vehicle and, in a fit of rage, deliberately drove forward ramming the SUV. Mr O described his frustration and anger, saying, “I was furious, but I managed to calm myself and immediately called the police.” Both parties were later summoned by Pattaya Police for questioning. While the tour bus company has agreed to cover the damage caused to the SUV, they have refused to compensate Mr O for the loss of income resulting from the incident. When approached about further compensation, the bus driver reportedly responded dismissively, saying, “I have no money. If someone had died, I’d just go to jail.” Mr O expressed concerns about the financial impact of the incident, particularly as he relies on the vehicle for his livelihood. He hopes the police will mediate a fair resolution. The bus involved in the incident is owned by a tour company that primarily caters to Chinese group tourists. On the day of the incident, the bus was scheduled to pick up customers from the hotel. The company has yet to issue an official statement regarding the driver’s actions. -- 2025-01-02 ScreenRecording_01-01-2025 18-42-22_1.mp4 5 1 13

Popular Post Mark989 Posted January 2 Popular Post Posted January 2 The bus driver lacks the maturity to retain his employment or seek future employment as a driver of any commercial vehicle ever. He is more than old enough to know better. His lack of self-control is that of a teenager with poor parenting. 8 2 7

That makes me a very significant and important person, you were blocking my way, don't you know who I am? What were you THINKING, blocking my WAY? Let me show you, my vehicle is much bigger than yours. What many people don't know about me is that I have the emotional development of a 13-year-old and I have no ability to deal with either frustrations or perceived slights, and I have a very big bus, so just don't get in my way! 3 3 5

He wont feel sorry until he's on TV being shamed in front of the country. 1 1 1 6

The tour bus driver is obviously unfit to be driving a tour bus, or anything else come to that. His temperament is very questionable 1 2 3

wensiensheng Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Some thoughts: 1. lucky the bus driver was only armed with a bus rather than a machete, revolver or machine gun. 2. The bus company may be lamenting the damage to their bus. But it’s their own fault as a result of hiring a complete maniac 3. don’t see why anybody is paying anything in compensation. Surely both have insurance. 🤦♂️what am I saying, don’t I know where I am? 1
