A 48-year-old man lost his life in a motorcycle accident after attending a New Year’s celebration at a friend’s house. The crash occurred in a rice field along Wat Ratchathat Road in Moo 1, Bang Luang sub-district, Mueang Pathum Thani district.

At approximately 07:30, Police Lieutenant Silpkrasae Jittipatpong, an investigator from Mueang Pathum Thani Police Station, was alerted by locals who discovered the deceased in the rice field. Rescue teams from the Poh Tek Tung Foundation accompanied the police to the scene.

The victim, identified as Mr. Jakkrit, 48, a resident of Moo 2, Ban Chang sub-district, Mueang Pathum Thani district, was found face down in mud near his motorcycle, a purple-and-black Honda Fino registered in Bangkok.

According to initial inquiries, Mr. Jakkrit had attended a New Year’s Eve celebration at a friend’s house on the evening of 31 December. Witnesses reported seeing him leave the party around midnight. Tragically, his journey home ended in the accident, which resulted in his motorcycle veering off the road into the rice field.

Family members arrived at the scene after being informed of the incident and were devastated by the loss.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash. Preliminary evidence suggests no other vehicles were involved.
