So how exactly do these Russians afford to travel to Thailand?

I’d like to know how exactly Aeroflot is keeping its A330’s flying.

The 74 year old interviewed looks more like 94. Hard life, no doubt.

Although the lady in black at 0:48 supports Putin, she might get in trouble for calling it a war.

Apparently it's a "special military operation."

She also supports the genocidal annihilation of the entire Ukrainian population.

That is what I gleaned from her statement.

Lovely woman!

...Not.

Do you keep having to be reminded that your hero Putin invaded a neighbour, slaughtering civilians in doing so, for NOTHING.

What on earth is the matter with you............................:saai:

Nobody starts a war for nothing, they are costly and have international ramifications. Britain has invaded more countries than any other nation during its long history but always for a reason, mostly for financial gain. Vietnam and Afghanistan were also costly failed adventures which like the Ukraine war had political reasons behind them, unfortunately it looks as though Russia will get to keep its occupied territories and the west will breathe a sigh of relief and continue to trade with Russia for cheap energy, after a few years all will be forgotten, it's in the nature of war that they are futile.

Pretty obvious I thought, governments and industry are pragmatic, nobody cares about yesterday's news when it comes down to money, I bet Germany can't wait for the gas taps to be turned on again, the lack of cheap energy is the main reason for its industrial troubles it's having.

American 'propaganda' is allowed to be openly scrutinized by the public and the media.

Try doing that in Russia and see how long you live after the fact.....

Yes. Vladimir insists on it. Because War is something between countries, but Vladimir thinks he just brings order to the Soviet Union. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the elites think differently. They consider Ukraine not to belong to Russia. The contradictions between Putin and the elites are gradually increasing and at some point someone must win and someone must give way to the winner.

When a Western media outlet hides some very important information from its listeners, people most often think that the hidden information is harmful to Western listeners because it makes them more pro-Russian.
However, there is another reason. It is that the information space is united and what is said in the West immediately becomes known in Russia and can be used by Vladimir Putin's supporters to increase Putin's support inside Russia.
It is for this reason that the video only shows people who have no idea how to win in the war and who say obvious nonsense about killing everyone in NATO. With a 6 to 1 ratio of forces, such a strategy obviously guarantees defeat.
There are other people in Moscow. These are pro-Putin street activists who drive around Moscow every day in cars with dummy nuclear missiles labeled "To Washington". There are many of them and the number of their supporters is gradually growing. You will not hear about them in the Western media, but you can easily find out about them on YouTube.

Interesting reading..

Quote

Consider the war in Ukraine, where Russian nuclear threats have successfully limited U.S. support for Kyiv. If Moscow’s threats worked against the alliance-friendly President Joe Biden, then Pyongyang’s will very likely restrain the nationalist, transactional Trump.

Yes. This is true.

But there are also differences. Putin said that the nuclear doctrine should be changed in September. Nevertheless, the Russian elite, which did not want to quarrel with the US, did not change the Russian nuclear doctrine. The changes were made after American missiles flew at Russian cities. This behavior of Russia is provocative. That is why no one wants to negotiate with Russia before the elite in power is replaced. What Trump calls peace negotiations with Russia is of course a cunning attempt to deceive the enemy.
What would happen if no one in the US doubted that Russia would easily press the red button? We see the answer to this question in North Korea. No one doubts that this country will press the red button, and that is why Trump said that he would negotiate with it (not fight).
