The New Covid Pandemic is starting
I read today in MSNBC that there is a new worry. They say that there is a new virus in China spreading like wildfire but not being reported by the news or to the world. The WHO is warning the world to refrain from accepting travel from China. They claim that currently a virus called HMPV is getting everyone sick and filling the hospitals and morgues https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/other/who-declares-new-covid-outbreak-in-china-global-health-emergency/ar-AA1wYAMZ?ocid=nl_article_link The World Health Organization, WHO, has declared the outbreak of a new coronavirus in China, a global health emergency. Has anyone heard anything about this new virus? My friend in China says that he is seeing more people wearing masks now and that the hospitals are full. He said he got sick by something last month and was sick with Covid-like symptoms for a month before recovering. i am also seeing this same story in many countries news services. Being Thailand will most likely keep it secretive to avoid stopping the Chinese from entering. I thought to tell the lot of you so at least can make some preparations to avoid people or take your own steps so you do not catch this new virus. -

It's compartmentalised to a large extent, most people involved take care of a specific aspect and don't actually see the bigger picture. Those who do (and there are some) know to keep quiet and just go along with it to keep their social status. The peer pressure aspect of this is fundamental. The human mind is not equipped to swim against such a massive tide and will much more easily adhere to the prevailing paradigm. Whether it makes objective sense to or not is, ultimately, a secondary issue (unfortunately). It also happens in the pharmaceutical industry regarding the nefarious effects of the Covid vaccine. -

Like I mentioned, sarcasm doesn't work here. Read what he's said in earlier posts, and topics. Then you'll understand a bit more why I said what I said. Again, it's not acting badly calling someone out who's acting like a narcissist. This is something everyone has to do. Toxic people are to be avoided. Alpha males, narcissists and the like who make the world a harder place to live, and are only there to intentionally hurt others, because this is all they know, from being taught as children by caregivers. My parents taught me well. This is why I try to avoid such people, but sometimes they have to be found out. You indeed have to go back and look at previous replies and topics. That's the only way you will understand someone's actions here. Remember Hitler was loved by many until he was found out, along with many other world leaders and people. Two wrongs don't make a right yes, but allowing bad behavior allows it to continue. That's something you learn at a very young age. Letting people walk all over you isn't how they stop their behavior. I tell it like it is. Take some time and peruse through a few topics before you judge. -

Robinson is where he is due to the fact the system protects child rapists from those who might expose them. This is why the person who calls out child rape is in prison, and those who covered it up are not. Nobody goes to jail for contempt (which is not a criminal offense it is a civil one), especially not to a category A prison in solitary confinement. Musk is acting like a father who sees the industrial scale rape of children and its cover up as a horrendous off the scale injustice that should see those who aided and abetted in jail, and is rightly shocked that one of the most vocal in exposing this is in jail for spurious reasons. As he is not a politician he is as confused as the rest of the right minded people about how come Robinson is in jail and Starmer, Phillips, Police, judges, social workers and every other scumbag that covered this up is not in jail. -

There can be. Although the OP quoted "reading glasses" the prescription might be more complex and include correction for other issues, then that's the way he should go. However if he just needs magnifiers then the glasses available in markets all over the place are good enough. -

Thai ladies with hairy legs is a real turn off.
I used to work for a Vietnam vet who was a quadriplegic, due to a piece of shrapnel that went through his brain. He would ask someone that didn't know him, do you play baseball? It didn't matter if their answer was yes or no, he would then tell them, I play base ball. Wanna know what position I play he'd ask? Invariably the answer was yes, many times with a puzzled tone as he was in a wheel chair. He would then tell them, I'm third base, then hope they would ask, how do you catch the ball. His answer, Oh, I don't catch the ball, I'm third base!
