The order cites a new 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee report indicating that 73% of U.S. adults aged 20 and older are overweight or obese, and 38% of children and youth aged 12 to 19 are prediabetic.

 

 

That is a disgrace, I am usually against government intervention but I think something needs to be done with this Trump voting nation.

I hope it spreads world wide.

Could be a conflict with Kennedy.   Trump is fat and loves McDonald's and a bucket of KFC.  He sets a poor example on this topic.

And if you have ever seen some of those people at his rallies you will see many will benefit from this wonderful initiative.

Not a fan of Newsom but like this initiative if he sincerely wants to make a change.  Probably just a political stunt. 

 

 Doubt it will do much but worth a try.  American aren't interested in health.  They are addicted to the high food gives them and companies enjoy the profits of bringing them that high.
