Not only will Trump's conviction be overturned on appeal, but Merchan will be censured for the blatant and outrageous bias he displayed during the trial and in his instructions to the jury. Further, the extreme corruption of the SDNY courts will be exposed, resulting in a national spectacle of embarrassment.

Trump was convicted by a jury. IMO he'll get a slap on the wrist, such as a fine.

 

Reversing the decision would be a rejection of the jury verdict, and hundreds of years of jurisprudence. Anarchy would replace law.
