To live in Thailand?   What do you mean by "live"?   Do you mean just to remain alive, or to actually LIVE in Thailand?   Most here, probably, are not living here.

...If you don't live in Thailand then why are you always posting here??

What business is it of yours to be on a THAI forum when you are not even in the country?

Don't be silly...............🙄

I'm not.

Think about it.

If I'm living in Thailand then would I go posting on a Syrian expats forum, or a Malawi expat forum, or an Uzbekistan expat forum?....

No, of course I wouldn't. Instead why doesn't he join an Australian forum and bore them all tears instead of annoying us lot here!

So, if someone is living in their own country and thinking of a holiday or even moving to LOS, in your opinion, they should not be able to join this forum for information, etc ....?    🙄

Gawd 'elp us.............:coffee1:

Everyone is welcome here. It isn't your place to say who is and isn't. Kindly stop doing so.

If I left TH, I'd never peek at AN again, even if returning for holiday every year.

Sometimes I wonder why I still do ...  :cheesy:

Which might be coming to an end, very soon.

Same with I don't belong to anything in the USA, and why would I, even hobby wise, I don't see the benefit.  I did belong to drone & photography group, and very short lived, as nobody from TH was in them.

Still a few like minded folks I enjoy chit chattin' with.

First visited Thailand in 1962, lived and worked here 1982-1987, retired here 1993. No intention to leave

i have been a permanent resident of Thailand for 39 years  and still enjoying it.

I was born and raised in the United States, but have lived in Thailand for almost 35 years.  I last visited the USA 18 years ago, and have no desire to ever return.  I have a family here and a nice home.  I speak Thai more than I speak English most days.  My best friends are Thai.  I am acquainted with many expats, but would only call a few of them good friends.  Interestingly, my closest expat friend is an Australian.

I hope to visit Thailand one day.

I have heard it is very nice, beautiful beaches, great food and lovely people.

Yes, not many of us like Americans. I can get along with individuals sometimes but probably you would be amongst the most hated on the planet.

All those bombs you fund and drop tends to put people off you. I did a trip to Vietnam last month, let’s just say they haven’t forgotten what you did to them.
Your president just gave away another 8 billion yesterday to be spent on bombs for killing children. I can think of 1,000 better ways to spend that much money.

I like living in Thailand, trying to get through as many of the female population as I can. Life is short. Weather, food, beer is good, if there is a Heaven I hope it is like this.

I have known quite a few Americans in my time here and I have not disliked any of them, but I am very wary of guys from Yorkshire.

Besides, any forum has liars, creeps, nutters, males pretending to be females and trolls, no forum is free of them, even this one, this forum is free space for all to say what they want and live where they want,  within the forum's guidelines............:guitar:

OK, point taken..

Let's move on.

Sorry it confused you again.

Good try MalcomB. Tell us, where exactly do you live? Is it here or in the UK?I'm not confused but from all of your comments on AN, you certainly are.

I didn’t ask they just told me.

Not sure what the Vietnamese kids could have hurt the USA even if they wanted to back in the 1960-70s.

I think it was unnecessary what you did there.

Wasn't you Aussie folk there...?  🤔

Bang Tao about 150 meters from the beach with all the other well heeled posh people. I like all the fine dining choices.

And what about yourself Fred?

Puts Usa high up there on the list among war criminals. Except they are in the position to dictate the world order for a brief moment in time.

And can do so without any consequences for now. But the short history of time Usa have existed, it is one hell of a bloody history so far,
