You know what a wai is and it's meaning?

Of course I do.  But most people living in the USA would see it as a praying figure and lawsuits would be filed to stop it.

What?  Why would lawsuits be filed against it?   Is prayer illegal in the US?

Every time I visited our plants in India they always wanted to take me to McDonald’s (no beef) or Dominos.

Likely one of the few places you could eat without getting sick!

When they opened McDonalds on Samui 1999, long line with Thai that thought it was hi-So.

Nobody goes anymore except American tourists, but why..... burger king is next door..

Best fast food burgers was in Hardee's and Wendy when I lived in Minnesota.

If you want cheap but good burger in Pattaya, Allan Burger ...

Better than McDonald and its 50 baht

You will still see more Thais than tourists in every McDonalds - and KFC.

Back in the early to mid-1980's I worked on the Strand in London and there was a big Wendy's there. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Wendy burgers were better than any other fast food chain, though still way behind the likes of Strikes and Hard Rock. I haven't seen a Wendy's in decades but, like many things, it probably won't taste as good as it used to in the old days to us fossils.

You must be a millionaire if you can afford to eat at BK frequently.

I agree that they are better, and I would also eat at BK when their prices were still reasonable, since then I haven't used BK or McD for years

The world is undergoing an inflationary period.
