so tell us what makes sitting down less safe than standing?

Why don't you try it out on one of the  walkways and report back on your testing of the caution that  sitting on the walkway can result in serious bodily harm. Prove the  people wrong.

that's pretty funny.

killjoys only unhappy because they didn't think of it.

These guys didn't 'think of it' either... They copied it...    this stuff has been doing the rounds on social media for a decade.

I'm not 100% sure, but at a guess, loose clothing could get caught.

I'd very much doubt they'd 'ride the rowing boat' until the very end of the travelator...

...  Extremely stupid if they did...  Imagine that story... "Travelator Oar-deal Leaves Tourists Short-Changed Below Deck!"

Followed by the inevitable GoFundMe page.

The comb at the end of the travelator could grab the family jewels?

I wouldn't have to worry about that: My wife already clipped those off

Too funny ...

... people need to get a life, and stay out of other people's when the are enjoying themselves.

Maybe, like myself, they've never seen it before.  Does it really matter, still entertaining.

I must admit to being a little confused by this reply to 2 men 'rowing' down a moving walkway.
