An incident occurred early morning of January 15, in Ranong, where a 24-year-old woman lost her life after jumping out of a moving vehicle during an argument with her boyfriend, a police officer. The woman's head struck the ground, causing a fatal cervical fracture.

Before her death, the victim, who has been identified only as Ms. A, reportedly contacted a close friend, sharing her location and enabling the phone's speaker mode so the friend could overhear the events inside the vehicle. The phone call ended abruptly, and moments later, the friend learned of her death.

The fatal incident occurred at approximately 01:30 on a road near Khlong Hat Sompaen, behind the Ranong district office. Police, forensic specialists, and medical personnel arrived at the scene to find the body of Ms. A lying lifeless on the road. She had sustained severe head and neck injuries, facial wounds, and abrasions on her arms and legs.

The woman's boyfriend, Police Lance Corporal Kittiphum, 24, was present at the scene. He stood by the gate of the district office, waiting for officers to investigate. Nearby, the Isuzu pickup truck the couple had been travelling in was parked in the middle of the road.

According to Lance Corporal Kittiphum's initial testimony, the couple had argued earlier in the evening over jealousy issues. To reconcile, he took Ms. A to a local entertainment venue and then decided to stop for a meal before heading back to their residence.

However, the argument resumed in the vehicle. Ms. A, seated in the rear passenger seat, allegedly opened the door and jumped out of the moving truck. She struck the ground, rolled several times, and lay motionless.

Investigators discovered bloodstains and signs of impact on the roadside gravel stretching approximately six metres. The truck's side step bore footprints, indicating Ms. A might have stood on it before jumping.

A close friend of the deceased revealed that Ms. A had sent her location multiple times that evening, possibly seeking help. During their phone conversation, Ms. A reportedly expressed her intention to return to the police housing flat to collect her belongings and end the relationship. The friend heard commotion before the call abruptly ended. Moments later, she was informed of the tragedy.

Officers from Ranong Police Station, along with forensic experts, are gathering evidence to ascertain the exact circumstances of Ms. A's death. Given the sensitive nature of the case, especially as it involves a police officer, authorities are determined to investigate any possible foul play or any potential cover-up.

The deceased's body was sent to Ranong Hospital for an autopsy to determine the precise cause of death. Investigators continue to examine the vehicle and scene to determine all the facts in Ms. A's death.

What?! Yeah, cause she wouldn't step on it to enter the vehicle?
