It is not anyone's job yo babysit adults. When you rent a motorcycle anywhere , let alone Thailand , the responsibility is your own. Period. These crashes have nothing to do with maintenance. And even that is the responsibility of the rider. Inspect the bike before you rent. Take it for a ride and if anything seems off , return it. -

O-A multi-entry visa from UK insurance and bank balance oddities
Hello All. 65 yo 'gentleman' from UK looking for O-A e-visa from London Embassy A few simple enough queries. Why do I need two insurance policies and what is the difference between the two? As is usual the information provided and paperwork required is confusing, problematic and as far as I can see largely unnecessary. I already have an expensive insurance Thai insurance company which covers COVID and is well above the 3,000,000 THB quoted. It is an ongoing policy starting before today and covering my lifetime. By 'foreign' I assume this means outside Thailand. What then does 'In case of using foreign insurance company' mean in relation to the paragraph above it? Additional to this I have had no luck in getting any UK insurance company to sign the form no less than three times. I have held 800,000B in Bangkok Bank for a few years. I'm not sure if this is important but I have turned my house upside down but can't find the bank book. And yes I have a long standing Thai gf so a Thai address is available. Groping in one country might well be called sexual assault in another. Thailand is quite conservative regarding intimate behaviour in public (unless you are in a bar district). -

You seem to have missed a critical point in this "huge pantomime", as you call it. He admitted he had done this to other women many times. That's reason enough to take him out of circulation and lock him up for a while so that other men don't get the idea you can do this in Thailand. A judge will decide unless they solve it through a court-appointed mediator, in which case he will be giving the women a sizable paycheck. It's an insult to the girl, but an even bigger insult to Thai women and even Thailand as a whole.... that you can treat Thai women like this. I call for the death penalty.😁- 1
