In the early hours of January 18, a fatal shooting occurred outside a popular nightclub in Kantharalak district, Sisaket province, following a free concert. The victim, identified only by the nickname "Boon," aged in his 30s and a resident of Ban Non Chomphu in Kantharalak, was the nightclub's head security guard. The alleged shooter, known as "Joe" is believed to be in his 20s and also a resident of Kantharalak.

Eyewitnesses reported that the incident unfolded around 02:00, after the concert had ended. A group of youths became involved in a heated altercation outside the venue. The victim intervened in an attempt to break up the fight but was struck on the head with a bottle by the suspect. A physical struggle ensued before the suspect drew a firearm and fired three shots at the victim. One of the bullets fatally struck his heart.

Friends of the victim attempted to administer CPR before rushing him to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Local police have launched a manhunt for the suspect, who fled the scene and remains at large. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as the investigation into this incident continues.

"Joe" will have a interesting future if get caught.

Joe will get caught, it's fairly easy to trace a local, unless the guy is wealthy and has the ability to flee overseas. He will likely be in prison for a very long time, where he will hopefully have time to reflect on his rash and ridiculous actions, and where he will make new friends who will greet him with tremendous warmth and affection.

I certainly would not want the job of being a bouncer or a bodyguard here, there are a lot of volatile Thai men, who seem to fly off the handle without much provocation.

So many stories of people getting shot it makes you think twice about inter action with any thai male especially if alcohol is involved

The trouble is that these guys can not get a girl to go out with them, so they decide to go with their buddies.  This leads to P!ssing contests, and instead of one level-headed brain or just one immature brain, you have 4-5 that think numbers make them tough.

I agree chances are they will find him.  Would not be surprised tht some of  his friends end up in jail also

Thais have the propensity to fly off the handle with their short fuse and massive face saving culture.
act first and regret later is their motto.

I remembered years ago when I was renovating my house. I wanted to reprimand one of the work crew but was told by the manager (a Chinese Thai)  to reprimand him( manager) instead as he can take it. He informed me that local Thais had a short fuse and big face mentality and he cannot ensure my safety with so many tools lying around the project.

so, did the head do a bad job allowing a gun to enter ?

cpr is only good for people who are not breathing without big bullet wounds gushing blood
