Most likely just a coincidence that both happened at the festival. But of course an unexplained sudden death of a young man is always mysterious.

Many assumptions possibly we will see now

I'm going to hazard a guess and suggest that it's something to do with the alcohol in the drinks

How easy would it be to taint the entire tourist industry for someone or some group with a grudge?

I gotta call BS on that Samui bit, maybe 2 to 3 locals a day unreported but not foreigners.

Quite a-typical.

Only suggested cause would be drugs, and as we know, drugs are too often mixed with more potent drugs, to create addiction, (fentanyl as it usually is) and create a regular user.

Vietnamese. Origin not known for that.

The so-called Canadian, Muslim as his name would suggest. Also origin not known for that....

Quite strange. But same location would suggest something available at that gathering, spiked as it would appear, and perhaps taken unknowingly by these two people....

"Blood alcohol levels and toxicology tests are being conducted"

Until these tests are performed everything is speculation. Not to state the obvious, but I will ... lol, it would have been better if they had written the article after the tests had been performed.
