A blind woman has sought help from Panadda Wongphudee, president of the Foundation for Good Deeds after enduring a month-long ordeal of alleged sexual harassment by her cousin.

The police are set to issue a summons yesterday, January 21. The incident was shared on Panadda’s personal Instagram account, a well-known beauty queen, actress, singer, and presenter, who also serves as the president of the Good Deeds Foundation.

The organisation received a request for assistance from the 51 year old visually impaired woman, who has been reportedly subjected to sexual abuse by her cousin. The foundation sent staff to investigate the situation. It was revealed that the woman, who is blind in both eyes, resides with her mother. Although previously married, her husband left to pursue a new relationship but continues to provide financial support amounting to about 6,000 baht per month.

The woman disclosed that her 45 year old cousin, who lives nearby and is the son of her aunt, has been harassing her. The harassment typically occurred when he was intoxicated, involving inappropriate actions over several months. The situation escalated when he forced himself on her by kissing, which prompted her to file a police report at Bueng Kum Police Station. Following the report, the aunt and the cousin have not returned home, leaving the woman frightened.

Initially, the Good Deeds Foundation contacted the investigator in charge of the case, who has taken on the matter and is expediting the process. The police are preparing to issue a summons for the cousin to provide testimony, reported KhaoSod.

Additionally, patrol officers have been notified to inspect the area, and if the man is found, he will be brought in for questioning. Measures will be taken to ensure no further incidents occur.
