A 37-year-old man who raped a vulnerable woman on Brighton Beach in full view of stunned members of the public has been sentenced to six years and nine months in prison. The incident, which occurred near Brighton Palace Pier in the early hours of September 10, 2023, was witnessed by horrified onlookers who alerted the authorities.

Ali Mozaffari, of Golders Green, London, was caught in the act by police officers responding to the calls. Upon their arrival, Mozaffari attempted to avoid arrest by pretending to fall unconscious. However, his collapse was quickly exposed as a feigned attempt to evade justice. He was taken into custody at the scene, where further investigation confirmed his crime.

The victim, deeply traumatized by the attack, was immediately taken to a place of safety and supported by specialist officers. Authorities commended her bravery in cooperating with the investigation despite the profound impact of the ordeal.

Mozaffari was charged with rape and remained in custody while awaiting trial. On February 2, 2024, he pleaded guilty at Lewes Crown Court. He returned to court on January 22, 2025, for sentencing, where he was handed his prison term.

Detective Constable Clare Byrnes, who was involved in the case, praised both the swift actions of witnesses and the courage of the victim. "Ali Mozaffari preyed on a vulnerable woman who had every right to feel safe in a public space," she stated. "Thanks to the quick thinking of witnesses at the scene and the rapid response from our officers, he was located while committing the offence and taken into custody."

DC Byrnes also highlighted the victim’s resilience, noting, "The victim in this investigation has shown immense courage to support the process, while living with the impacts of her ordeal, and has helped bring a dangerous predator to justice."

This harrowing case underscores the importance of public vigilance and rapid police response in bringing offenders to justice while offering crucial support to victims. Mozaffari’s sentence reflects the seriousness of his crime and the commitment of law enforcement to safeguarding public safety.

Less than this guy got for posting tweets* who received a 7.5 year sentence.

It's now official.  It's possible to get a longer sentence for posting ill advised tweets than actually raping someone in the UK.

Starmer's Britain.  What a place.  Good for rapists of a certain cultural background, not so good for white people who use social media to express anger and frustration after 3 little girls were slaughtered in a dance class.

* "Someone" will be along shortly to gaslight stating he wasn't jailed for posting tweets but for "pleading guilty to encouraging violent disorder".  The "encouraging violence" was based on tweets he made as an armchair warrior, so yes, he is going to serve longer in jail for ill advised tweets than an actual rapist convicted of raping a woman.

Well he wasn’t just posting tweets was he.

Look at that smirk on his face.

If you are sick in the head and disgusting, go to England and commit a heinous crime.  No worry, you will be out of prison in a few years.  Shameful.

Isn't there anywhere you can deport him to? ASAP

I think for the next few years the deportation to a HMP facility should be adequate for this sex offender with a bit of luck someone will take a shine to him

Quite the irony.  Golders Green is a well-known Jewish area of London - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golders_Green

I'm sure they could hand this guy over to them for a short time, so that he could be "circumcised"?

If he is muslim he most likely is already. In any case, removal of his prepuce would not prevent him from being a rapist and it is doubtful the residents of Golders Green would engage in such violence. The demographics are of an aging, educated population; the exact opposite profile of those given to violence.

Depends which Demographic you are from.

They are not so lenient on the indigenous population.

Perhaps in addition to the ill advised tweets you are referring to the fact he had a copy of Mein Kampf in his house (not illegal) or he had a knife in his car, which I admit I am not sure if this is illegal but until a teleport is invented that can directly teleport knives from store to kitchen I am not sure how this is illegal either as how else do people get knives in their kitchen drawers?  He certainly wasn't brandishing the knife on the street like the average cultural enricher.  The "tweets" he made were actually encouraging violence, similar in nature to Ricky Jones, although undoubtedly to a smaller audience as a taxi driver rather than a Labour councillor, nor is there any evidence to suggest anyone acted upon his tweets any more than leftists threats to kill Tories or anyone else they disagree with.  Hence my accurate claim that he was convicted and jailed for longer than an actual rapist for "tweets".

Not sure why you keep trying to pretend that someone jailed for posting tweets is not the case.  If you ignore the tweets he made, what exactly were his crimes that he was jailed for 7.5 years then and deserving of a longer sentence than a rapist for his first offense?

I’m not sure why you have aversion to official court records.

Ah, so the BBC left out details of his actual crimes then and made it appear like he was jailed for 7.5 years for tweets?  Do the BBC have an aversion to official court records?  What did they miss?

A bit of whataboutary on your part.

The court records are the facts, your alternative reality is not facts.
