I totally agree regarding any president/premier/ruler of any country  wanting to reduce waste!

The only problem is the underhand obfuscating way in which Trump claims to be attempting to do it!

So you do not think he is trying to reduce corruption and waste?

You are the same, on the losing side of EVERYTHING. You lose and make idiots of yourselves and the people on the winning side laugh at you and your ridiculously moronic actions. when will you ever learn?

Any chance of rewriting in English with sentences?

It is just a jumble of words at present!

Read my post again!

The answer to your question is in the first line!

God help the USA when people are so blinkered by their MAGAlomania that they cannot read the first line of a post and have to question it!

I read it again ant it is not clear to me. I think you should re-read the question.

It is amusing that you accuse others of being blinkered.

I am confused now!

Do you want me to re-read my own question, which since I wrote it I don't think re-reading it will do any good to either of us or do you mean you want me to re write it?

If you want the  simple question of "read my post again" re-written or rephrased please point out what ambiguity is confusing you!

Yes, it is in the article you linked to. You have to add two numbers together, but it’s there.

Indeed. $1.6B out of $403B, and (apparently) no safeguards put in place.

Do you think that’s enough, or do you think more should be done?

"The days of irresponsibly shoveling boatloads of cash to far-left activist groups in the name of environmental justice and climate equity are over," Zeldin said. "The American public deserves a more transparent and accountable government than what transpired these past four years."

Shoveling boatloads of taxpayers money to support Marxist social justice

The $1.4B is from mid-2023, I don't know the current count. It's certainly not enough but due to the large number of cases, it's not surprising that it may be slow.

The Dems proposed a fraud prevention and recovery act particularly aimed at Covid related fraud. Guess which party opposed it?

I would not be surprised if the GOP ends up voting a similar bill one day.

Burisma Biden "proposed a fraud prevention and recovery act" ? Did he now😉. The age of critical thinking appears to have been replaced by narratives.

I have already replied that it's not enough.... and that a proposal to do more has been rejected by the GOP.

Like the “bipartisan” border bill that kept the border open and expedited legalization,

I understand you think everything is Trump and the GOP’s fault, but given that, do you support doing something about it now?

More deflection... I was mentioned a fact, which explains (possibly among other causes) why so little money has been recovered.

I wrote it's not enough. In other words, more should be done. Is it clear enough for you?

I will express my opinion more clearly.

This is just a political show trying to present something, already investigated and identified, as a new discovery of a hidden scandal by DOGE.

This is known already, there was a congress investigation and a bill discussed. The bill was rejected by the GOP. There may or may not have been enough good reasons to reject this bill, but it explains why not enough has been done.

So more should be done. What does the current administration intend to do about it, in order to recover more money and fines?

You’re the one that keeps deflecting and blaming Trump and the GOP.

I think Trump and Co. are doing what they need to do, and I think they’ll make good progress on it.

It’s just a shame they have to deal with all the frivolous lawsuits by activists judges, but I think that will stop after the midterms.

Absolutely not. I have replied to your question, and I have explained why it was not enough, by citing facts.

Then it's you discarding facts and replying with the usual political discourse.

Tell me what the current administration plans to do to recover more money and fines, and I will gladly give my opinion about it.

They’re going to spend two years trying to get a bipartisan bill passed that funds their donors NGOs.
