Being that the battle field is very much like the trench warfare of WW1 it's no surprise. Artillery was used then and is still being used and Russia has A LOT of shells stockpiled. Add to this FABs, thermobaric weapons and drones. This is what Ukraine needed instead of F16s and Abrams of which there are few. Artillery being the most important.

And we know how the western front turned out. But for Uncle Sams blood and treasure.....

As long they both want the same resources, and for the moment the territory with the resources is in hands of the rsussians, who have the best card on their hands?

The problem is, Europe is also partner in the previous deals, but right now it is all about Usa and Russia, as it seems

Exclusive: Zelenskiy says 'Let's do a deal', offering Trump mineral partnership, seeking security

That's smart because most of these resources are located in territories occupied by Russia! 😉

However, it's not impossible that one of Trump's aides may tell him about it.....

Flaming again?

Taking 2 feet of territory a day at the cost of thousands of lives doesn't seem to be winning, but you just dream on.

I would say the same thing too that clown zelinsky but he's got the money, for now

The more you post the more you show yourself to have absolutely no idea what your talking about.

"Russian forces advanced 430 square kilometres (166 square miles) into Ukrainian territory in January and are headed towards the logistics hub of Pokrovsk, according to an AFP analysis of data from the US-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

This marks a slight slowdown compared to previous months, after a record advance of 725 square kilometres in November and 476 square kilometres in December.

More than 80 percent of Russia’s advances in January took place in the Donetsk region, where Moscow’s troops are trying to capture the key city of Pokrovsk.

The Russian army also advanced about 50 square kilometres on the northeastern front around the city of Kupiansk."

I think you'll find that the numbers of volunteers has reduced dramatically and conscription age is 25. This is why there is a problem with the numbers available to go to war. Desertion and AWOL is also a factor.

S-a-t-i-r-e.   I'm so beyond attempting to explain reality to anyone that I immediately default to satire, parody, and sarcastic caricature.  I appreciate you still have the fortitude to explain to these people that Ukraine isn't a democracy and isn't winning.  Don't read too much into what I write about the Ukraine conflict.

The west had to wait 3 years for the USA to finally and grudgingly turn up!

Nearly the same in WW11.
