And exactly how will this be done? Given any thought to this particular comment? How long did it take for Germany to send one Leopard tank? By the way tanks aren't exactly what Ukraine needs neither are F16's both supplied in very small numbers.

You are right. No amount of weapons will help when the need is bodies. Ukraine is running out of bodies.  So either the Europeans/US join in the fun and risk WW3, or the war ends with some harsh conditions for Ukraine.

 

Any other outcome seem possible?

It's beyond shocking that Trump and Putin will meet in Saudi Arabia without Zelensky or the Europeans present. The puppet and vassals must have seats at the table. Maybe on shorter chairs but they should be there.

Why?

Because it was clear at the time that Europe was not excited by the theft of Crimea and I don't think there was any chance of a strong NATO response at that time.

It was like, OK, Crimea specifically has a uniquely odd history with Russia, Europe isn't on fire over this, why should the U.S. light the fire?

But under Biden a real coalition happened organically but Biden made the mistake of slow walking the response.

Once Ukraine got through the first few days, he should have given Ukraine all they needed to win quickly and ignore Putin's nuclear fear mongering.

That was the opportunity lost. It could have been over the first year with Ukraine clearly winning.

But at least Biden helped enough with Europe for Ukraine to hold on. 

But Trump is now surrending to Putin at a time of weakness for Russia in their economy.

That is evil.

What is the real status of Ukraine now? How many dead young men and how many have fled the county not wanting to fight. 

 

I think you are correct about "...the opportunity lost", the key word being lost. 

 

Ending the war, NATO arming up and the US arming Ukraine to the teeth funded by rare earth metals seems like a decent plan to me.

It was said about a year or so ago that Russia could sustain this war for another 2 years. The Russian people are just beginning to feel the pain. There is talk that there will not be enough manpower coming to this spring harvest. Russia needs this war to end as much if not more than anyone else.
