You say what?

Can you elaborate a bit more, an not just trow out stupid comments which make no sense.

The Mediterranean diet exists, and many people follow that diet with great success, good health, and established great routines and dicipline just by following a not to complicated diet.

Unfortunately, the media has misled people about this so-called “diet.” Some researchers have even made a food pyramid out of it. Not unexpectedly, hundreds of diet books and cook books have been written in many languages. The worst portrayal of the Med diet is that it’s a “diet” in the first place. It’s not. There are no rules, no serving sizes and no special recipes one must follow to eat this way

Do you read your own links, or just headlines?

Do you understand how to read science, and also understand each and one have individually needs when it comes to calories pr day, and also promotional mix of fat, carbs and protein.

Every diet idea or culture based diets, have origins we today have modified, but still, as long you follow the basics, stay away from processed food, you most likely will reach your goals with Mediterranean "diet" idea, and lso enjoy your meals without to much craving.

Good luck, I'm basically eating clean food, vegetables, and fruits, grains, nuts,  youghurt and meat and do not need to call it anything.

Protein 35 - 40%

Carbs 35 - 40%

Fat 20 - 25%

Not so difficult if you also move your body 5 - 10 hour a week walking, swimming, lifting, kayaking/rowing

And it is up to you, and nobody else to understand pure basics.

If you are overweight, talk to your Dr, and do keto for a limited time if you want. I know it works, and it was easy and enjoyable, but I also understand it is not sustainable for a long period of time.

The most important is to be disciplined and to be consistent

That's like many bodybuilding guidelines. Nothing to do with any area.

These diet books just copied bodybuilders and thought up a new name. Scammers.

As I said earlier, each and one have its own needs.

Eat clean and balanced, up to you.

Still it seems like you only based your last link on headlines only. Impressive

It's a non existent diet. Italians and Greeks don't follow it.

The disease care system will be of little help since nutrition not part of their training or business model. You have access to the best lab in the world ..your own body/mind and so can try the diet that works for you ...be it Mediterranean, low carb, keto, carnivore etc.

I eat egg/cheese,butter omelet in a.m. , meat dish and steamed veg or som-tum for lunch, dinner. A little steamed carrot or squash for carb.  Keto banana bread, choc/peanutbutter fat blob , fruit for snacks. Stevia or monkfruit sweetener. Almond flour instead of wheat. Homemade yogurt for gut health. All products readily avail at local market, makro and lazada. Exercise and morning sunshine. Keeps my weight under control and have great energy.

Not trustworthy, he is all over the place shopping a bit here and there, and mix up science with his own pseudo science.

He is very convincing, and that makes him dangerous

Yep the gullible believe what he says, strange when he's just a chiropractor

Yes.

Felt great, lost weight but cholesterol and iron shot up too much so had to stop.

Constantly being that guy who needs to edit everything he orders was a pain in the ass as well.

Bodybuilding websites have meal plans. Just follow them.

I eat what I want, and keep my 2 800 calories a day plan year around. Some days less, some days more.

I do not drink sugar drinks

I do not eat fast food

Very little sweets and cakes

Lift as much I did as 28 years old, just a few more kg now then back then.

Enjoying life while you can, do gives a few extra bonus points. No need to be angry every day or argue all the time. Sit back and relax, enjoy

Now, if some want to call clean food vegatables, fruits, diary products, meat Mediterranean diet, fine, while others eat root vegetables, lean meat and fish Icelandic diet, fine,

No big deal

It is about the variety, quality and experience as well how many calories versus ativity and your age

How ignorant it's embarrassing for you:

diet

noun

a prescribed selection of foods

the usual food and drink consumed by an organism (person or animal)

a legislative assembly in certain countries (e.g., Japan)
