British Tourist Knocked Out by Pattaya Club Bouncer

Featured Replies

The guy was in his 60s he think the security guard could’ve just like sidestepped them were just kind of easily taken care of it instead of taking off his uniform for some reason and then hit one time old drunk English blow and knock him out hidden injuries and conscious who knows but I think there was an easier way for the guard to handle one old drunk British guy possibly maybe it’s just me TIT

  • Seems to me, the he got what he deserved. Why in the world would somebody push on a security guard?

  • Sounds like the Brit thought he was a tough guy and confronted the guard. Seems the guard responded appropriately in defense and punched his lights out.  Well deserved,  hopefully a good lesson f

Not for a Thai I imagine.

Most of them are off duty cops.

In Pattaya maybe.

The ones I used to see in Bangkok looked around 18 years old.

Guards don’t want to do anything.  They want to sit down all night and collect their paychecks.  They really aren’t looking to fight.  If he punches your drunk lights out, it’s probably your own fault.  Mean sloppy aggressive Drunks are annoying, so good for him.  Too bad his head didn’t hit harder.

What a stupid thing to say.

Sounds like you've had too many head knocks TBH.

A 62-year-old guy taking on a young and fit Thai security guard, probably trained in Muay Thai? He either has big balls or a small brain, lol.

Small brain is the favourite.

To avoid further embarrassment do look up the definition of murder. Manslaughter is the very worst interpretation from a single punch in self defense. The labour MP in UK got a suspended sentence for very much worse than this

Yes suspended on appeal. What chance have we got when our elected politicians are violent thugs. Mike Amesbury punched the guy multiple times and when he was on the ground. A totally unprovoked attack but somebody will be along soon saying that he deserved it.

He probably abused him as well as pushing him.

If someone punches me I go down hard, until police and Ems arrive.

Gives me a much better result than punching back, and risking a beating.

Not to mention the chance of free drinks, food and maybe some instant cash in my pocket.

The bouncer probably took off his uniform to safe face for the place he worked. Smart thinking. I think this type of bouncer is the norm for most places here and around the world, especially the US. Hence the name. They are not the door welcoming committee. They are there to get rid of the trouble makers coming or already inside causing issues.

So if this Bouncer Errr Security staff worked in an Establishment with a uniforn provided Plod must know his name quickly even if he dis a runner

TIT .....  anything goes ...it doesn't matter.   Nothing, absolutely nothing shocks me here anymore.

if you know Thai people. you will understand.

Nothing to do with Thai people .

Anywhere in the World , you pick a fight with a Bouncer , then he's going to oblige and have a fight with you .

   Its his job

You sure seem gullible to every word read is fact and truth..

what you should take away is a guy got knocked out by a bouncer…that is the only evidence…everything else is hear say or opinion

Itsr really nothing to do with where anyone comes from , whether they be Thai or Felang.

One man went up to a bouncer/security and began confronting him and became aggressive and the bouncer retaliated

You also seem to think that you can be abusive to Thais and not suffer any consequences, like the guy in the O.P

well possibly,  but the guy is a 63yr old and drunk,  maybe he could have wrestled him to the ground and restrain him....     he's not a security guard's ars_hole like the rest of them in Thailand.

I'd punch a Brit if he said felang too.

and yes,  he's a silly old fool,  I hope he learnt a valuable lesson from it ....   otherwise he won't be around to see next year ....   :burp:

Pattaya bar owners must have a business-death-wish. "Any trouble from tourists, beat them up! .... Derr ... ma bwain herts."
