Well would that be because wages would go up? Would that be because you would have to have proper training and qualifications to do the job? Would that be because you aren't exploiting people as slave labor? It doesn't matter as it won't happen anyway.

 

I wish they would find more creative things for them to do than starve out small independent contractors. They can build that well go fix Detroit.

Plumbing is a skilled occupation. As are electricians and carpenters. Your post is a non-sequitur.

 

I would be very surprised too. I would expect immigrants with those skills to be coming in legally, with the protection of award wages.

 

Are you saying there is no requirement in the building industry for unskilled labor?

I think they've deported all the "criminals", so now they need to decide if they will arrest, detain, house in camps and physically move to another country undocumented persons who are not criminals.

 

Crossing the border illegally is a civil offense, and these persons can be deported after judicial processes.
