For me I pay Mrs. Smith absolutely nothing, she is rolling in it just as I am. She is from a very wealthy family..

How about you lot? Does your woman demand a monthly allowance or are you as lucky as I am?

Regards,

Bob.

Mrs. Smith told me you’re actually giving her ฿100,000 a month and that she’s flush for cash. She also mentioned you send another ฿25,000 a month to her family upcountry. So when she pops round for a bit of a rogering, I don’t give her anything and she seems perfectly content with that arrangement. She did mention, though, that you do try and throw her one every now and a gain, but never quite finish the job for her, so she’s just grateful when I step in to ring the bell proper. You know... Just sayin’…

Every time I tub Bob's Mrs she gives me a biscuit.

That's why I'm so fat.

That's also why I opened a shop selling biscuits.

To the title ... that's a tough one to answer.

... actually pay her, for her -0-

... Now for Us .... what I do with my 'income' ... I eventually give it all to her, what we don't actually spend to live on.  As I don't want it in my name, (funds in TH), for a few reasons.

1. statistically, I'll crap out first, so avoids any legal issue of her getting in that event.

2. she earns more of a pittance interest, than I do, if it sits in the bank.

3. one less form (FBAR) I have to be concerned about as USA citizen, with large balance in bank

4. if I have a major med oops, she has the money to pay hospital, if I'm unable to.

Lastly, well, firstly, and more importantly, she can invest it in land, as I can not.  Which she (we) have done quite successfully.

Money she has received from me (as stated a few times 🙄), she invested in (land, house, land land land land), sold and now,  has paid for everything we own that is appreciating (expect the BEVs). house, and 3 more lots of land,

Those assets, free & clear, means we have minimal mandatory monthly bills, just; PWA, Ph & Internet.

So the money I gave her, has allowed me (us) to live here virtually monthly bill free (<฿1.5k ), and build equity, while now saving most (90%) of future income.

All we have to really do, is feed ourselves, and continue to smile.

Reality is, I pay her, to provide me with the most comfy & enjoyable life that she can, and she gets to keep anything left over.  Left over =  ever growing investments and big stash of cash.

We seemed to hit the lottery with each other.  Who knew ... Lucky Us

I'll probably crap out tomorrow :cheesy:

Actually this is excellent advice, say No often. If you pay 8000 regularly they come to expect it, it would clearly breed expectation.

Better to do ad-hoc surprise payments. To avoid this ugly phenomenon of entitlement.

But you have to be careful. Unfortunately there are so many guys who pay exorbitant amounts of money and girls talk. If she feels she gets too little she'll be out of the door too.

"Exorbitant amounts"  ... reminds me of a very wealthy  American who met a young Thai man, Thai already married with 3 young kids. Thai man had a dream of setting up a dairy farm with all modern equipment, selling large amounts of milk / milk products to Japanese operators in Thailand and more.

Wealthy American offered to pay for land for a dairy and all high tech buildings equipment, cows and a salary of 300,000Baht a month to the young Thai man if he left his wife and kids and didn't contact them.

Thai man left his wife and proceeded to plan /design / build the dairy farm, buy the equipment / vehicles etc., all paid for by the American.

Then the Thai man got greedy, demanding a 3Baht weight gold necklace every month and a big BMW car and more.

Then the Thai man committed suicide. Then his estranged wife had the land, and all the dairy operations transferred to her ownership. She then asked the American to employ a Thai manager to operate the farm, reporting to her.

She became quite wealthy and used her rising wealth to educate her 3 kids at the best schools.

American returned to the USA a broken man.

there is a risk in any relationship that the partner always wants more.

for some people, it's never enough no matter how much you give.

so need to choose wisely who you get hitched up with.

I found Thai girls work best when they get 1000 or 2000 Baht. Give them more and the money is gone.

If it was her who had the money and she respected you this way would you stay?

if you need to pay for your woman here you don't know thailand.

You do not know the Thailand that I know. Millions need some help, some to the point of desperation.

Why should you help them?

They are adults.

Let them help themselves.

I actually had Thai girls give me money. I very much appreciate the gesture of trying to make sure I'm well financially. Would it be the sole factor to make me stay? Of course not, but it doesn't hurt to know your girl cares about you and wants to make sure you're okay. Of course relationships are way more complex than that. They're a little bit like the purest reservoir of water, the smallest drop can ruin it.

Good for you Bob. We all believe you. You are the man. Keep the posts coming. As an Aussie though we absolutely hate people that lie and even worse than that is someone that brags. That's pretty low. Nevertheless you just keep your self indulgent nonsense coming. It's always entertaining albeit very, very pitiful. For someone with a wife, girlfriends all over SEA, able to take a picture inside a taxi when you didn't have your phone, get charged for 4 bottles when you only had three (where was your wife or one of your numerous girlfriends to sort this out?), you sure seem to want attention.

Note the bold type. Aussies are hilarious.

I thought BS Bob and HarrisFan were FOS, but with hindsight, you surpass them. I remember your recent sagas of trips to Bangkok and your emotional woes.

If you are not AI then you are an embarrassment to mankind. Truly pitiful.

Nietzsche taught us about ressentiments. He said you only feel ressentiments against those whom you know are superior to you. Because you know they are better than you.

I feel compassion for you.

Bob, I rent my wives on an hourly basis, yes, that's wives, plural. I usually visit with them about 6–8 times per month, spread across multiple women, and spend no more than ฿15,000 in total each month, sometimes less, on the whole shebang. It's all about just focusing on a single part of my anatomy. No grief, no stress, no “I’ve got a headache,” no emotional breakdowns or mood swings to deal with. No dinner dates, no weekend trips, no strolling through shopping malls. Don't need any of that tosh. So I have complete control over all of my own free time. Plus, the women are usually half my age, never fat, entirely all by my choosing of course. I could go on, but you get the point, let’s just say I’ve got it made.

Your fat old wife who doesn't want to get off the couch, can't beat my setup cuz. 🤣

Admit it you don't have a wife or girlfriend do you 😆

wasn't he the one posting about being offended by the bar girls whistling at him and trying to get him into their bar? I think poor Bob has lots of girls. I met a man like him once in Pattaya. Every bar girl he managed to get to his room cheap he called his GF. It did not matter that they never ever returned after that one time, short time. haha... To him, they were his. I imagine it is the same as his wife. He does not give her a lot of money probably because he does not see her a lot but he is her regular customer for long time already...
