Trump Starts Global Tariff Wall, Thailand Hit with 36% Tax
If there has ever an american potus that spends more time whining than trump i do not know who it would be...he whines that the election was rigged he whines about unfair it is that he is charged with crimes he whines because biden is too old and too incompetent but also whines about how biden rigged an election and left no evidence he whines about how america is a <deleted> hole country he whines when he has to go out in the rain he whines about every news cast that does not say enough good about him he whines non stop and his magic maga brigade whines along with him about how very awful america is while they sit in nice homes with a couple of nice cars in the driveway and several 65 inch tvs to watch fox "news" help direct them to whine more and more. It is nothing but whining..it is all so unfair for poor little trust fund bone spur trump who was born a white american male with a massive pile of $ and a headstart on life that billions upon billions of people around the world can only dream of having. He is not the Lion King. He is the Whine King. -

Countries Targeted by Trump’s Tariffs May Strike Back at U.S. Services
Even if companies decide to build new factories in the USA it will be a few years before they can produce. Every one is waiting for the flip to flop and back again. Surprising to a lot of people however is the fact that those (maybe) built new factories will have a minimal number of workers. All robotics, just a few people for monitoring and maintenance. Where will the robots and chips come from? -

French Tourist in Critical Condition After Zebra Crossing Accident
Hope he's OK fair play to the driver for stopping and helping rare that happens, foreigners sometimes think that Zebra crossings are the same as their own country like cars must stop if someone steps on one, however I think most Thai drivers think of it more as a starting grid on a formula one track. -

Questioned about my underwear at a Police checkpoint.
Several sources, such as travel blogs, news articles, and forums (e.g., Skeptics Stack Exchange, Quora, Thaiger, and others), mention this no underwear rule. They often cite historical decrees or cultural norms rather than a specific, current law. Here’s what the sources suggest: Historical Context: Some sources point to a decree from January 15, 1941, during the era of Field Marshal Plaek Phibunsongkhram, which mandated that "Thais should not appear in public, populous places, or municipal areas without proper clothing." This included prohibitions on appearing in public wearing only underwear or no shirt. However, this decree and other similar cultural mandates were reportedly repealed by 1944, according to historical accounts like "Fall of the Phibun Government, 1944" (page 117). Current Legal Framework: The Thai Penal Code, particularly Section 388, addresses "indecent acts" in public, which includes "shamelessly exposing oneself or committing other indecent acts." The penalty for violating this section is a fine of up to 500 Baht. While this section could theoretically be interpreted to include not wearing underwear if it results in indecent exposure, there are no documented cases of people being prosecuted specifically for not wearing underwear under their outer clothing. The law focuses more on overt public nudity or behavior that offends public morality. -
