Thaksin Shinawatra, the influential figure behind the Pheu Thai Party

Before returning to Thailand and during his police hospital recreation time, he was always referred to as the "De-facto Leader of the Pheu Thai Party".

Now the media is starting to call him "influential figure", obviously in an effort to downplay and conceal his involvement in the governing of Thailand.

If this continues, by next year he will be called "kindly grandfather"...

I guess that's what influential figures do, they influence other figures to control narratives and create outcomes...

Thaksin, however, underscored that his role was limited to providing "advice," suggesting no ulterior motives or direct involvement in the legal actions presently underway.

If anyone knows how to vote buy. Thaksin would be the one to go to for sure. So it makes sense he has found out about others doing things the way he would and calling them out for it.

I remember living in a small village in Northern Lopburi, the residents there was all eager for some election or another going to happen, because they were guaranteed a 500 baht note for their votes.

Thaksin Shinawatra, the influential figure behind the Pheu Thai Party, has firmly denied any involvement in actions against pro-Bhumjaithai senators, who are currently under scrutiny for suspected electoral malpractice. Speaking on March 14th, Thaksin emphasised that he harboured no animosity towards these senators or any prominent lawmakers, distancing himself from the legal proceedings led by the Department of Special Investigation (DSI).

That man is a menace.

Thai friends say he is perceived as being protected from on high and serves a purpose for the Table.

He is all but in charge if anyone still has any doubts they need to get their heads checked.
This arrangement had been in plan even before he was exiled and finally put into play.
