Its frightening to consider what 'might' be on that needle (i.e. HIV etc)...  Hopefully it was just a clean needle... 

 

Nevertheless, this physical assault needs to be dealt with firmly - Criminal Assault charges filed and due process... 

... the issue of course is that such attacks are usually considered 'minor' and punished minimally.

I have lived in Thailand for almost forty years.  I have a wonderful Thai family and many Thai friends.  Yet, when I read some of the posts on this forum which was originally designed to inform foreigners and make life easier for them to live here, I see many of the same people posting hateful and insulting comments about Thailand and Thai people.  Why?  If you are that miserable and have such a strong dislike of Thailand and Thais why do you stay?  Please either take your intolerance and hate back to your home countries or refrain from making vile and unhelpful comments.

Thailand is my chosen home and when you insult the country and its people you are insulting my family and friends.  Go away or shut up!

He was not referring to the Iranians behavior, but regarding the AN members comments. This I agree 100% with him - many foreigners living in Thailand keeps on bashing the Thai people & Thailand - yes, why not find a better place and move on?

Maybe you're taking the comments too personally. I've lived here since 1984. I attribute the rude comments about Thais and Thailand to foreigners who are unhappy for whatever reason. Perhaps ask God to bless them and help them to find happiness and see the beauty in people, instead of telling the foreigners to ...

I think it is due to Personality Disorder, which we know is rampant among the western visitors who are here, short time.

 

If they are able to last in Asia for over 45 years, then we can safely say that they are OK.
