Ok, because you have been called out on your statement you now try and justify it with a load of poppycock.

Obama went after and killed a known perpetrator of the 7 /11 act of terror against the USA. The US government has asserted that by killing Osama bin Laden on 1 May 2011, justice
has been done. Its view is that the killing was clearly lawful.

Bush along with Blair should have been convicted for crimes against humanity with their invasion of Iraq. The UN Security Council did not authorize the 2003 invasion of Iraq, and the UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan later stated that the invasion was "illegal" and not in conformity with the UN Charter.

Thatcher declared war on Argentina because they invaded British dependent territories in the South Atlantic. There was a predictably a level of outrage. As Britain readied its task force the rest of the world reacted to the invasion with shock. The UN issued Resolution 502 calling for an immediate withdrawal of Argentine forces. 10 weeks later and it was done.

Sending out death squads to kill human beings is not "poppycock", it is precisely what Obama and Bush have done. So did Thatcher. So before you accuse Putin of being a killer you may want to look in your own backyard.

As for the killing of Ben Laden having been "lawful" you have a strange idea of due process, what court was actually involved?

  • Putin is more trustworthy than Starmer, Johnson and the entire lower house put together.     It is not for nothing they call it perfidious Albion.

  • Putin did not do 1 or 2. Okay, he killed some opponents, but so did Obama, Bush, Thatcher and pretty much every leader.

  • I would trust Putin more than I trust Starmer.   Putin lies to foreigners to protect Russia.   Starmer lies to the British to protect foreign interests. An evil man. An enemy of Br

I take it you are able to read? if so the explanations are in my post, to be clear:

1, After US Navy Seals killed Osama bin Laden in a raid on a Pakistani compound on 1 May
2011, President Obama said in his address to the nation, “Justice has been done”.1

The word “justice” was repeated by the US Attorney General, Eric Holder, in his statement to
the US House of Representatives Judiciary Committee: “Osama bin Laden has been brought
to justice”.2

In response to questions from the Senate Judiciary Committee, Holder added
that the killing was “entirely lawful”:

Now I'm no fan of the US justice system, but if you want to argue a case for Bin-Laden be my guest.

2, Bush, I might have to agree with you as long as Blair is included in any legal case, both of them were guilty of crimes against humanity, IMHO.

3, Thatcher, had a legal right to defend British Territory and remove the invading Argentines.

Lol, I think you'll find justice requires a court process. It's not enough for politicians and their assorted servants to say "justice" was done.

Nobody argued a case for Ben Laden, that's the point. There was no court case. Ergo no justice.

Of course Ben Laden was guilty as hell, he said so. However, justice was not done. There was no court process.

Thatcher had sent in the UK commando forces to Argentina.

The legality of Obama's, Bush's or Thatcher's actions is neither here nor there. However, we need to accept that ALL of them were killers, or ordered killers to go kill people. This is what leaders do.

I've never claimed anything about Putin, that wasn't my issue with your post, it was you claiming that Obama, Bush, Thatcher and pretty much every leader killed their opponents without offering a shred of evidence.

Obama certainly did and was on tv in the room watching an opponent being killed. Everyone seemed to think it was a great result.

Bush certainly was responsible for the deaths of many in Iraq. Thatcher ordered the operation in the Falklands, so responsible for the deaths.
