Over 80,000 tourists attend Equinox event at Angkor Wat
The Equinox event at Angkor Wat, from Friday to Sunday, attracted an impressive 85,453 visitors, highlighting the site’s continued popularity as a cultural and historical landmark. According to the Apsara National Authority (ANA), among the attendees were 14,233 foreign tourists who travelled from around the world to witness the stunning sunrise over the central peak of the iconic Angkor Wat complex. The Equinox Angkor is one of the most spectacular events attracting both international tourists and local Cambodians, took place from Friday to Sunday, between 5am and 6:30am. The Equinox Angkor event demonstrates the unique characteristics of the Khmer ancestors, deliberating design of Khmer architecture; the layout for constructing the temple; land arrangement; calculations based on astronomy and consideration of the celestial course along with beliefs and natural phenomena requirements, which creates a phenomenon that shines at the centre of the Angkor Wat temple. The equinox is the time when day and night are approximately equal in length, unlike some normal months, the night is longer than the day or the day is longer than the night that always happens in the world. This special sunrise event occurs twice a year, in March the spring or Vernal Equinox and in September the Autumnal Equinox. Courtesy of Khmer Times -

No Use In Crying: Or....Is there? (There is ALWAYS some use in having a good cry..right?)
No, nothing in life is ever truly atypical, claiming otherwise is just the kind of dim-witted perception I’d expect from you. And let’s be crystal clear: I’m not here engaging with whatever pitiful excuse for a topic you’ve dredged up this time. I don’t even have the faintest idea what it’s about, and why would I? I’d rather claw my eyes out than slog through the incoherent, mind-numbing drivel you spew across your endlessly tiresome posts. I was only bothering to respond to your insufferable whimpering in The Lounge, attempting, foolishly in hindsight, to provide a shred of honest insight into why people recoil from you like you’re a walking plague. But now it’s obvious: you’re not just some run-of-the-mill irritant. No, you’re a troll of the highest order, a pathetic little creature who slaps on the victim mask to milk every last drop of attention, all while reveling in your role as the forum’s resident pestilence. So, congratulations, you’ve graduated, from mildly annoying to utterly insufferable. From this moment on, I’ll treat you with the contempt you so richly deserve. This is the last time I waste a single coherent thought on you, so savor it, you serial pest. I’d be eternally grateful if you’d take your own pitiful suggestion and disappear until June 24, July 24, or, dare I dream, permanently. Mortality’s ticking clock guarantees you’ll shuffle off eventually, though judging by the collective groans on AN, it won’t be nearly soon enough to spare us more of your stench.
