What source of information are you relying on for the truth?  Those responsible will deny, deny, deny.  They will lock and block .

No, according to the U.S. classified information handling system, it is not permissible to use a public app such as Signal to discuss Top Secret or any classified information.

Reasons:

1. Security Classification Requirements – Classified information (Confidential, Secret, Top Secret) must be handled through approved government-secured communication channels.

2. Secure Systems – U.S. government agencies use dedicated systems like:

SIPRNet (Secret Internet Protocol Router Network) for Secret-level information.

JWICS (Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System) for Top Secret information.

NSA-approved secure communication devices for classified discussions.

3. Risk of Unauthorized Access – Public apps like Signal, WhatsApp, or Telegram are not government-certified for classified discussions, even if they offer encryption.

4. Legal Consequences – Mishandling classified data by discussing it on unauthorized platforms can lead to violations of the Espionage Act and other federal security laws.

I'm surprised. Usually, by this time, the MAGADIs have come completely unglued, foaming at the mouth, ranting on how all us lefties are, well, lefties.

I think the façade is finally fading, the veneer stripping away, the truth is finally sinking in that they backed the wrong horse.

Let's see, the current alibi is they didn't care if our foreign enemies learned about our secret war plans so they could kill American soldiers.

They cared more about the "liberals" Inspector Generals finding out their plans involving treason against the US.

That's why they had to hide it on Signal instead of going through the usual classified channels.

It's all the fault of "liberals" who want to enforce "laws".

Silly Liberals!  We elected a criminal.  DUH. 😄

King Trump says your petty laws don't apply to royalty.  It's all your fault. 🤴

Ahh. I wondered when you would weave this old chestnut into the topic of MAGA incompetence.

They were Nazi gate guards.

Using your “logic” you probably think that North Korea is a “Democratic Republic “.

As for POTUS on the Lolita Express, the flight logs were made public years ago, and his name was on several times.

Head out of the sand, pork. No need for a tin foil hat, but if your haberdasher suggests it, knock yourself silly.

I think you have mistaken me for someone who actually cares. Head out of your arse and pork out of your hand you strange arrangement.

Trump's lie at the press briefing about not knowing about a national security failing and deflecting to the standards of the Atlantic news source, when he did know his team messed up is more serious than a typical lie that he's known for. This behavior implies that he prioritizes maintaining a facade of infallibility over transparency and accountability. By denying knowledge of a national security issue, Trump undermines the trust and credibility necessary for effective leadership. Lying by a president can considered an impeachable offense, especially if it involves national security matters. The Constitution states that the president can be removed from office for "high crimes and misdemeanors"

Has signals code been hacked.yet ?

this from what I have read is available for anyone that wants it!  that is why it is not really considered to be secure in the classified info world.  Maybe it is more secure than an open telephone for joe citizen but for anything of importance, the intel of unfriendly countries can read all of that talk!

Yeah headlines indicate today that Trump also lifted some of the sanctions on the Russians/Putin but also notice that Putin want a lot more lifted in order for a ceasefire on energy producing targets - what kind of ceasefire is that, is it a ceasefire in reality - are folks still being killed?  war is war and none of it is pretty IMHO.  Trump seems to be negotiating like he normally does, keeps giving away benefits for the other side while giving up everything on his (supposedly) side.

Hummm…….biden couldent even wipe his rear end without help ya say…..and yet…..somehow record stock market inflation under control (a world wide problem btw) nato strengthened Russia stopped and hummilated for less than 5% of our defense budget + most of the funds stay here …..computer chips mfd in the states kids fed support for the starving in the world……laws followed ……democracy strengthening…….labor supported……infrastructure….and on and on.so we are suffering through another trump debacle it would be nice to see trump take responsibility for once.

well reading the pay back for tariffs from our friends seems to me that Trump has gone over to the dark side and looks like our used to be friends are now not so friendly.  Will Trump blame the idiot that signed the NAFTA agreement?  yeah laugh since it was he himself that negotiated and signed that agreement with our friendy neighbors, now not so friendly as Trump today reportedly dropped some of the sanctions on the Russians yet they still claim they want more sanctions lifted before any ceasefire - and this just for the very limited ceasefire - doesn't sound much like a real ceasefire to me unless it would mean killing would stop but since it won', the Russians just keep pounding away and Trump keeps giving up more and more as usual in his negotiating skills.

Hey read the news on that SIGNAL it is readily available to anyone that wants to buy it!  doesn't have to be hacked at all, just dial in and listen to the discussion as it will be on the airwaves and with the right equipment that less than friendly countries have monitoring local communicatons, can be read by others!

Not sure what you mean. Signal is a free app - I'm selling my home, my Realtor and I use it.

And it is NOTHING that should EVER be used for official US gubmint communication.
