Not a fan of Prime Burger or some of the others.

Arnoś at Terminal 21 is the best I have had.

It is a steak place , but they grind the meat for burgers.

Arnos makes a very good burger. Fancy and Expensive. Thats the beauty of Thailand, you can have a tasty burger consumed in air conditioned tableclothed well decorated restaurants for $15 with delightful company exchanging witticisms while critiquing art, or you can sit on a rickety chair in a cockroached parking lot across from the worlds largest brothel while watching siliconed ladyboys and gobbling a lovely juicy egg burger for $6.

I like both, although its far more fun to eat in the place where nobody cares about grease, mayo and egg yolk dripping down your face.

Although I must say that the refined conversation in Arnos is classier than having to say "Get the f... away from me you scumbag Swami f***" every 10 minutes when a fake Rolex is shoved under your nose at Nana Burger.

Bangkok has something for everybody.

Not another best burger topic. How many have there been on TV/AN? Your counts must be goind down or someone else is "beating" your counts.

  • Egg & pineapple don't belong on a beef or any burger.  I'm a Yank, not an Aussie.

  • Egg and pineapple make burgers great again

All real Americans have eggs on their burgers, especially for breakfast at 4am or at the shooting range, races, sports parties or hunting camp.

I would go so far as to say that Rock Me Burger in Chiang Mai is not just the best burger restaurant in Thailand, but in the entire world, including the USA.

Their burgers are true perfection, beyond even and surpass the highest standards. Time and time again Rock Me Burger serves up complete and utter burger perfection.

45 yrs living there, and I've never seen eggs on beef burgers.  Philly, PA (whole metro area), Up & Down East Coast, Memphis TN area, Detroit area, S. FL / Keys / Clearwater / Tampa, Beckley W.VA ... any of 100+ cities that I've visited.

.... NEVER ...  Only on a breakfast sandwich, which also, never included ground beef.  Scrapple being my 'go to' brekkie sandwich.

First time was in Udon Thani, 2000, at an Aussie Bar.  Seems a standard thing now ... BLASPHEMY

mayo is made with egg yolk, so it's not a major stretch to put an egg on a burger.

Beef, egg, pineapple, bacon. What's not to like?

Commonly known as a 'Bogan Burger'. Add beetroot and you have yourself a 'Bogan Big Un'.

Bogans eat fish n chips :cheesy:

I have always found burgers at all good 5 star hotels quite acceptable, and reasonably priced too!

I don't know about the "best in Thailand," but I've had a few that were pretty good.  PrimeBurger in Pattaya at Central Festival, and a place called Craftburger, I think, on Sukhumvit Soi 11, in Bangkok.

Of course, with a grill and the right ingredients, I could make something really good.

CraftBurger:

Can't go wrong with Prime Burger.

Any favourities?

In the rest area on the Chonburi highway, there is a McDonalds on either side. The restaurant on the side going to Bangkok is probably the best overall McDonalds I have ever been in (live in 6 countries) in my life and I stop there every time I am on that route. What I can say about the one on the side going towards Pattaya is that if you have a McDonalds from there, it will have left your body one way or the other before you reach Pattaya.
