I forgot to check the results of my dictation before I sent it. Tell substitute study or research for Christmas.

Between auto-correct and dictation software, you can end up with total nonsense.  Words that are spelled correctly but just don't belong in the sentence.  It happens all the time. I've seen it in Federal appeal briefs.  They're right in the middle of trying to make a point and all of a sudden, gibberish.

iPhones seems to work a lot better. I know that Apple is supposed to be far behind in artificial intelligence, but their voice to text software does seem to take into account context unlike the Android version that I use.

He wasn't just a fraudster trying to get himself glory. He actually had a whole financial scheme worked out to profit from his fake research.

I remember a TV talk show a long time ago that was a sort of debate between Jenny McCarthy and the assistant director for communicable disease from the CDC. I was appalled that it was not over in five minutes. She had a moving story about her autistic son but zero evidence. She is very pretty and won on an emotional level but completely failed on the facts.

But people with the VAX still got COVID.

Deep sigh, breathe regularly before responding;

NOT AS SEVERELY!

And the Award for most Despicable Post of the Month goes to...

The Jury rewarded the blind obedience virtue-signalling with which you started this post, but then ditching your fake Saving Lives stance by quickly switching and showing your true colors as an intolerant crypto-fascist.  For a Newbie member, you sure are making friends quickly here,

Crypto-facist?? Some would say that generally following the advice given by health authorities is not "crypto-facism". Some would even say that claiming such a thing is hysterical hyperbole.

no harm in checking, Who would be against that? and why?

Because it has already been checked and dismissed as nonsense, many times. It takes resources away from real research.

Small reminder of what you wrote and to which I reacted >

Of course, the anti-vaxxers should then have been denied medical assistance if they got ill from Covid. Because, obviously, one of the many reasons for people to get vaccinated was to ease the pressure on the healthcare providers.

So, no vaxx, no help.

Yes, I know I wrote that. So what?

In Florida, when there is a mandatory hurricane evacuation, if someone insists on staying, the authorities will not come in to drag them out.

The Emergency folks just say: If you get in trouble, DON'T CALL US.

And quite rightly so.

Because it's going to be a big study and costly. And it's not necessary because there have been multiple studies since  Andrew Wakefield published his fraudulent research. And given that RFK has appointed a vaccine denialist to be in charge of this study, what do you think the outcome is meant to be?

Not the same.

Yes, Biden misstated that. Vaccines don't provide 100% protection. Did you see a lot of epidemiologists endorsing what he said? If so, you got a link to prove that? What's your point?

The left spent much lying during COVID.    You have to admit that.

Really? In both cases the victims bucked expert opinion. And the consequences were tragic.

A natural disaster vs someone going to the hospital.  Even you should be about to figure this one out.

Whatever lies were told by what you call the left, were as nothing compared to the falsehoods told by the right. Until the vaccines came along, the rates of death between Republican leaning regions and Democratic leaning ones were very close. Once the vaccines came onto the scene, death rates diverged widely. And just to make it clear to you, the death rate was higher in Republican leaning regions. People like RFK who spread falsehoods about the vaccines have blood on their hands.

I thought I spelled it out for you. In both cases they defied expert opinion. They were warned what the consequences could be. And in many cases members of both groups paid with their lives.

And the people that didn't, died from covid.

Wrong.

I find it totally amazing that people sit around and argue about the COVID jabs without digging a little deeper.  As if the only question was whether it was better to get the jab or not, statistically.  Propaganda really does work.

I thought people were smarter than that, at this point, but apparently not.

The information is out there. All you have to do is look.  Open your mind and look.
