I knew Andrew Wakefield - rather well ( unfortunately as it happens). He was at school with me, a couple of years ahead of me. He was a liar, a bully and a cheat back then. I make no claim to being "Tom Brown" but he was definitely the prototype for Flashman.

 

I was one of his favourite victims, and for several months he made my life a living hell. Things rather came to a head when he beat the living daylights out of me in a park on the way home from school. It required a visit to casualty, a lot of dental treatment and the loss of 3 teeth. He was the headmasters favourite, and the headmaster wanted to dismiss it as " high spirits". My father (also a schoolmaster) threatened prosecution, and the headmaster caved - he was a magistrate and the chairman of the Youth Bench. He (Wakefield) was allowed to stay at the school for his last 6 months to complete his A levels - he was clever and had very influential parents. The Headmaster was in something of a cleft stick, I suspect that he would have rather I left, ( my father threatened to take me out) but I had just won a scholarship to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst for my last two years  which would have greatly embarrassed the school!

 

When Wakefield came unstuck with his fraudulent research I must confess I opened a bottle of Champagne!

 

Central to his fraud was that he had bullied parents into allowing him to use their children for research. Leopards and spots and all that!

What was compared is the behavior of 2 groups. One group who refused to heed Hurricane warnings and instead chose to ride out a hurricane and the other group consisted of people who refused to heed warnings to get vaccinated and instead chose to face covid unprotected. In both these cases it's behavior being compared. And in both cases the consequences of those behaviors were fatal. 

 

What you have offered here is a burning house. That's not by itself evidence of heedless behavior so why offer it as evidence?Now, let's say the residents of that house were warned by an electrician that their wiring was unsafe but they refused to heed expert advice and as a result they died in a subsequent fire. That would be analogous to the 2 cases previously cited.

I never claimed that someone should be denied services. My point was merely that in what is now all 3 cases this was self inflicted harm. Of course, the insurance company might have something to say about reimbursing a homeowner for carelessness with their cigarettes.

Programs have been slashed but somehow there's money available to do a large study on a claim that started in fraudulence and has been repeatedly tested and found wanting. Did you stop to think that the reaction might not be worry? That it might be exasperation? And to make it worse, this study will be headed by David Geier, a vaccine denialis,t who was fined for practicing medicine without a license. He was fined $10,000 for practicing quackery.  But, to be fair, he does have a B.S. in biology.

As a kid I remember a receiving a polio, diptheria, small pox and whooping cough. I had the TB test when I was 13 and didn’t receive the jab itself.

I remember being bitten by a dog so they gave me a tetanus jab. That was it.

A few years later if a kid in a class picked up chicken pox or mumps or measles they had parties so all the kids caught it. That probably wasn't the best move back then. One of our neighbours kids was brain damaged by measles.

I don't have to have anything.  I'm not trying to prove a point.  I'm just making an observation. The observation is that there are a lot of really gullible people who never question authority and simply follow the crowd. That's how they live. They do what they're told, they never question authority, and they're seemingly incapable of thinking for themselves. Why do that when you can just follow directions? That might actually work for them, most of the time. This time, they weren't so lucky.

 

The name of the game: depopulation.  Excess death numbers are already very very high in many parts of the world, as are cancer rates in parts of the population that shouldn't be having much cancer at all.  Young people that should be healthy coming down with colon cancer.  Cardiac issues. Blood clots, etc. Anyway, all you have to do is sit back and watch, at this point.

I assume most people here lived through the entire COVID period. How many of those people were paying attention?  How many people just believed what they were told?  As usual,  most people don't think for themselves. They think whatever the "authorities" tell them to think.  And at this late date, if they haven't put two and two together, nothing I say here will convince them they were the victims.  Apparently, that would destroy their view of the world.  

 

It's not at all hard, in retrospect, to see the lies.  

 

I thought we were past all the nonsense, but it does surprise me how many people still cling to the official narrative.  Truly amazing.
