It's exactly the same here. 'No change, have to buy something...'

Many times I've asked to change a 20 baht note into two tens back in the day to make an overseas call and was outright refused.

Where was the helpfulness? Where was the common decency?

The Korean man was working in the USA, quite possibly without a green card, and he couldn't even show a local even a modicum of respect..

why doesn't the miserable, tight ar$e korean just change his dollar bill for him out of common courtesy, he is grifting in his country after-all??

Did it have an "Exchange" sign outside?

If not it is a shop where you but something and get change if appropriate.

Then choose a cheaper item that means your "exchange" requirement you dimwit.

But a very realistic scene that could equally be applied to Thailand.

When did you last see a pay phone in Thailand?

A photo (with GPS) or it doesn't exist!

I want to view your imaginary pay phone on street view.

What you really need is attention that's why you continue to make useless threads. I guess Bob's not doing it anymore so now it's Don and if I'm not mistaken BLMFem.

And each new persona it starts is worse than the previous one.

simon, shouldn't you be helping with the relief effort in Myanmar instead of wasting your time on here??

Bobble is on a posting rampage again today, guess his loneliness and dire need to be acknowledged by imaginary admirers is overwhelming him again. Still, nice to see Bob and Susan hooking up again. I thought that romance was dead, but it’s clearly alive and well.

Maesariang (BigNokkers) Harris, do let us know where the wedding will be taking place so that we can all show up and throw rice covered in bovine feces at you both as you walk down the aisle together. ❤️

They have a lot in common actually. Both have at least seven troll accounts on the forum.

Exactly; always when I arrive in Thailand, needing change, I go to the next 7-Eleven, pay, say, with a 1,000-baht note, then turn around, and buy some more with the given 100-baht note... Easy way to get some needed 20s and coins.

Yeah I use 1000 baht notes there. Good way to get 100s.
