I suppose I could have left the veteran part out but I could have also tacked "disabled" onto that. I guess I am just proud of my military service. But you just had to pick apart every word to negate my comment?  Your a real Scouser aint ya? I can't speak for him but I have flown on EVA Air, JAL and Cathay Pacific using a travel medical assistant without a hitch.

The British Embassy will not pay for a medical evacuation to the UK, no matter how ill he is.   They are dreaming, if they think they can put this on the toes of the British Embassy.

If that is a rhetorical statement, you are wrong...again.  If it is a question, the answer is, "no".

I should not make assumptions but with a handle like "Liverpool Lou" I would assume that you were a scouser.  But now I know you are just full of crap...

If he is in a private hospital, move him to a government hospital with very low treatment costs. Then there will be no need for a GoFundMe.

If he can't be helped at a government hospital, then a British hospital probably can't help him either.

Look after him here in Thailand until he can fly home. Just provide him with extra nutrition every day while in a government hospital because he looks very thin.

Pray for him. Here is the Baha'i long healing prayer. Just say it from the heart with deep sincerity, and it will be answered.

This is the twenty first century, being 77 coming up to 78 I cannot understand how somebody can be so neglected or even to allow oneself to reach this outragous state and not have some care either hospital or home.government Hospitals will firstly apply care, and worry about money afterwards,,will always to my knowledge negotiate a settlement or work out an arrangement over a period. As for the foot infection,I had an ankle ulster which I cure with twice daily pultis of aloe vera result no return.Ust sn idea for if available free treatment.

Money first, service afterwards. Particularly where it is a foreigner.
