Dermatologist in Phuket?

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend a good Dermatologist in Phuket? Preferably one who speaks reasonably good English!

Thank you!

Ron

If you are in BKK the government dermatology  hospital at Victory monument is good, modern and cheap

Ask for Dr Pat of the Dermatology Dept at the former Phuket International Hospital.  He speaks good English too.

Is this for skin cancer/skin disease or cosmetic isdue?  Makes a difference in terms of doctor.

Sheryl - Thanks for your response! It's a growth next to my ear that bleeds easily and keeps getting bigger. So, yes, I'm concerned that it's skin cancer. Would like that worry off my list! Cheers, Ron

Sheryl - Perfect. Thank you very much! - Ron

Forgot to mention -- unless this proves to be an infection or eczema which disappears with treatment, insist on a biopsy even if doctor does not suggest it. Doctors here have not seen as much skin cancer as Drs in the West.
