Recent trip to UK with Qatar air- A very sad, heartbreaking visit.
No, do a trip to Australia. All the supermarkets have discounted crumpets (still soft and fresh, round or square or fingers) at very discounted prices. I was there 3 years back (near Sydney) a pack of 6, just discounted for about 30Baht. Not too bad. Plus Coles or woolies low cost cheddar cheeses level 5 aging, very tasty, plus fresh plum or apricot jam. What a bargain. Often went (free bus) to the local Coles of woolies giant markets, bought 2 packs of discounted crumpets plus topping (above), home by 10:30am, one pack of 6 crumpets devoured within 30 minutes, the second pack gone by 1:00 pm as a desert after lunch. what a great life. -

Report Pattaya Motorbike Drivers Protest Strict Helmet Law Fines
You don't think its common sense that helmet laws are enforced ??? You're certainly not presenting your best side at the moment - you're struggling to bring any sense to the discussion... -

Uneducated, ill-informed, ignorant, or lying doctors at the "best" hospital?
The girlfriend fell down on a dirty road about 10 days ago, was treated at the so-called "best" hospital in Pattaya. Today, she was complaining about pain when opening her mouth, and throat. My layman's knowledge of a wound being infected with Tetanus results in this, as a first symptom. So, rushed her to the same hospital. Doctor dismissed the Tetanus possibility outright, by making 2 statements, first, it was too early for symptoms (10 days!) and second, the throat pain is not the first symptom of Tetanus. Gave her some pain medicine and sent us home. Now, I am PRAYING I, and the rest of the world, are not correct, but this one doctor, at this so-called "best" hospital is somehow, correct, against all information available on the internet. God help any of us who may fall ill here in LOS!!!! -

BYD Seal tips, tricks and help
So with the recent update on the BYD Navigation i decided to give it another try. According to some reviews ( in Aus at least ) the search function within the Navigation now has Google Maps integration, and has a symbol in the search bar to back that up. Well my Navigation search bar has no Google symbol so I was dubious that it had improved in its ability to actually find an address ! Luckily the opportunity arose as number one child needed to go to an address close to home. Typed the address in and instead of offering some suggestions it said it couldn’t be found before getting halfway finished. Brought up trusty ole Google Maps and as usual gave us the route before we could finish typing !! So, dismayed, yet again, with the BYD Navigation, really thought it was going to become usable this time ( yes, I am that naive ! ), probably will work for guidance to a major city but anything more detailed than that it is advisable to use one of the available alternatives !!
