either get a qualified repair person or google the" repair of household appliances" as it appears that there are repair kits available for the homebody repairer.  Kits claim almost invisable repair easily done!

Try pulling it back into shape, super glue will weld the break together

I think super glue won't last long for this type of crack. The glue is brittle and can break if pressure applied, but it will work. That area serves no purpose other than to keep the cold in. Wipe it clean and dry and run a piece of Scotch Tape (or any tape) over it. If you want something more permanent, clear silicone RTV from Home Pro.

@scoutman360 thanks for the reply. I was thinking along the same lines myself but sometimes there’s a member or two who have some practical suggestions so I was taking a chance by posting.

@Presnock  could you send a link of the product that you used on your fridge or is it just a general comment?

Just a general comment. But I use RTV all the time to seal leaks, etc. It comes in a variety of colors. Go down to Home Pro and walk to the adhesive section. There are lots of small tubes to chose from. Clear or white color. Up to you. If you are still confused, ask someone. They will find it for you. Or buy some white vinyl tape. They have that too.

RTV would work like a charm....flexible, waterproof, etc.....its temperature range is typically from around a -60C to hundreds of degrees C.    RTV is so good for many repairs.

I doubt Super Glue  would work well in this situation especially for long term.

Here's one of many youtube videos on the subject...RTV is used.   Just use your "wet" finger tip to smooth the silicon.

why dont you have a look at the different epoxys available at a good hardware store? put it on, let it dry, sand it and then put a primer to seal it... you can finish with a light coat of spray paint to color match it.

Many Youtube videos show professionals prefer RTV over construction adhesives. Both will do the job, but RTV adhesive is easier to remove with less damage in case of remodeling and removal. Marble countertops, baseboards, etc. They prefer RTV.
