GammaGlobulin Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Dear Folks, If you wished to be an astronaut or cosmonaut, would you dare ride Jeff Bezos’s GIGANTIC ROCKET into space, for about 10 minutes? Or, if not for free, then how much would you pay for the pleasure? Jeff is NOT an engineer. He does not GET space, or the reason for going to space, other than, maybe, to provide a joy-ride on his Giant rocket. Elon, on the other hand, has a worthy goal, and he is an engineer, OBVIOUSLY. Two very smart men. But, one of them has no vision, other than what he knows, which is to continue to be a Quant of Wall Street. Jeff is a pretender. Musk is the real deal. So, if you had a choice, then would you ride with Elon or Jeff? Of course, the GIRLS will always ride with Jeff. But this is a question for REAL MEN….. Nobody likes pretenders, I guess. Regards, Gamma 1 2 1

He has recently branched out...a bit....to analyse almost anything. He has a very wide range of knowledge. And, for sure, he does his research before posting any upload. Not bad....!!! 1
Pique Dard Posted April 17 Posted April 17 No! What’s the point of risking my life to rise so high, just to look down on the ground I walk every day? 1
Chris Daley Posted April 17 Posted April 17 They take the money and resorced harvested by the 99 percent and burnt it up infront of them while the aplaud it. Its just a way to maintain the 1 percent.
cdemundo Posted April 17 Posted April 17 No matter what Bezos does he cannot escape his nature, he is a nerd and a nudnik. He fell flat on his face going to greet the returning space gals.
MalcolmB Posted April 17 Posted April 17 If Katy Perry was going again I would join her. Ten years ago she had one of the best racks around. But she has aged a bit and gravity has sadly taken its toll. To be in space with no gravity would be like going back in time. 1 1

ElwoodP Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Title cleaned up. This is a family friendly forum, so let's keep it that way please.

Gsxrnz Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Bezos committed the ultimate misogynistic act, and did it in plain sight. He crammed a bunch of air-headed women with a cleavage emphasizing uniform into a phallic shaped vehicle, fired them into space with absolutely no agenda to achieve anything even remotely scientific or societally significant. I mean all they had to know what to do is buckle and unbuckle a safety belt, they didn't even have to push a button. None of them were slightly less than average looking or even slightly less than perfect figures. I suspect he now holds the record for sending record volumes of silicone into orbit. He allowed their idiotic meaningless comments to be broadcast while they waved a flower and a cuddly toy around, and then didn't even mute the microphone when they were screaming during freefall as they re-entered. The final screams on capsule impact were hilarious. If you wanted to ridicule women, he did it perfectly. I bet Mike Rowe is fair pi**ing himself. 1

But, at the very least, they achieved their dreams of becoming AstroNUTs....
pgrahmm Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Nope, basically a glorified carnival ride..... Achieves nothing.....
FlorC Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Would you, even for free, ride Bozos's giant rocket into "space"? F no ! Not even if they paid me.
Purdey Posted April 17 Posted April 17 He obviously stole the design from the film Flesh Gordon (1971). 1
Ben Zioner Posted April 17 Posted April 17 6 hours ago, GammaGlobulin said: Jeff Bezos’s GIGANTIC ROCKET It isn't a gigantic rocket, it is a rather modest booster (490 kN of thrust) designed for suborbital flights, hence it's naming after Alan Shepard the first American in space, with a short suborbital flight while the Soviets were happily orbiting. Just to illustrate, the SpaceX Falcon heavy has a thrust of 7600 kN, and the Starship block 3 should achieve 26500 KN. 1

If you had read the original Topic Headline, which i shall not repeat here... THEN, you would EASILY understand that GIGANTIC was the CORRECT word for it.

atpeace Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Good question and not a chance unless a friend invited me and I made the sacrafice for them. I just don't find these types of activities worth all the effort. I would compare it to skydiving which I derive vey little satisfaction from and find extremely boring. I know it isn't politiacally correct but a retard could go to space or jump out of plane. I prefer real challengs and risks or at least I did last decade 🙂 1
MrPhysio Posted April 18 Posted April 18 No, I would not go on a suborbital flight for 11 minutes, even if free. The recent flight was a stunt for feminism, but failed. As one poster mentioned the phallic shape for the feminists to travel into sub orbit tended to lessen the triumph for feminism. The best comment I saw was in a Sky News Australia interview by Rita Panahi with a female commentator describing the the transport rocket from Bezos as an “oestrogen enema”. Enough said.
klauskunkel Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Quote Would you, even for free, ride Bozos's giant rocket into "space"? I would think about it if he redesigned the rocket to look like a vagina..., image is everything nowadays. But then again, I can always get on my sleigh.
Tarteso Posted April 18 Posted April 18 That’s okay. Gamma.. This trip was for scientific reasons; if silicone gives reactions in space
harryviking Posted April 18 Posted April 18 NOOO!!!!! Not for a million dollars!🤮 Totally nonsense and waste of money!
