Too many. We simply just want then out, and stop beating over and over again on the good foreigners reputation in Thailand. Maybe you are unable to notice, but during the last 10 years, a higher level of anti-foreigner attitude have developed among the Thai people. That we can thank all the low life coming here and believe they are bigger than everyone and can do and behave like they want. But, that is something that you might not understand. I'm fully aware of the problems some tourists make here, but some lump them into the same category as those that live here and take care of women and children and help the economy. The anti foreigner thing here has been going on since the Vietnam War or before. Media has things shown more often than before. Most foreigners here do have a good reputation, especially the ones living here. Some locals see certain foreigners doing crimes, and then it's all foreigners bad. Foreigners get the news here because we are the minority. Crime here is 99% locals, but we stick out. Yes, it makes us look bad when another foreigner does some stupid things, and they should be held accountable, but prejudice starts when one person does something stupid, and some are quick to label all in the same category. 1 4

Smart how these Thai police work. Sort it out immediately, no need for lawyer and court costs and the victim gets compensated. Very clever these Thai people. 2 1

Patong2021 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Sad and disgusting. The disrespect shown for a poor Thai worker was uncalled for. They are not back in their homelands where the foreign workers can easily be abused. Grabbing his balls as he did was the ultimate in offensive gestures. The cops dropped the ball on this incident. We all suffer when incidents like this occur. Wait for the visa rule change advocates to seize on this. 1 2

Two foreign nationals have been fined following a drunken altercation with a Thai national motorcycle rider in Pattaya, which escalated into a street brawl. The incident occurred when a delivery rider, was en route to deliver an order. A car, driven by two foreign men, reportedly grazed his motorcycle without causing a collision. Witnesses stated that the visibly intoxicated foreigners then threw a bag of rubbish from their vehicle, which struck the rider. The rider approached the car, sounding his horn to confront the men about their behaviour. In response, one of the foreigners opened the car door and began shouting abuse. The driver soon joined in, leading to a heated verbal exchange. The situation quickly turned violent, with both foreigners allegedly assaulting the 44-year-old rider, who sustained bruises and other minor injuries. Throughout the altercation, the men reportedly hurled insults at Thai people, despite the efforts of a Thai woman who tried to intervene. As the fracas unfolded outside a convenience store, several bystanders, angered by the foreigners’ disrespectful behaviour, stepped in to assist the rider. Witnesses said the crowd retaliated, pushing and striking the tourists, who eventually fled into the shop seeking refuge. Police from Pattaya City Police Station soon arrived at the scene. The foreigners, fearing for their safety, sought protection from officers and accused local residents of stealing their mobile phone. Authorities successfully defused the situation and escorted all involved parties to the police station. The two tourists, whose names and nationality was not disclosed by authorities, were fined for disorderly conduct and agreed to pay 15,000 baht in compensation to the injured rider before being released. Officials confirmed that no serious injuries were reported and that the case was resolved amicably without further escalation. Adapted by Asean Now from Chonburi News 2025-04-28. Nice flying kick.

Many of the so called “farangs supporting thai women and their children” are these types who cause the problems. And they think “Thailand” owes them. They should be grateful for having a Thai woman. Terrible attitude. It appears these two also had Thai women 5

They were never really colonised, Of course I'm referring to modern history and not back in Genghis Khan's time where all countries were fighting one another for land, food and women. I\m speaking of prejudice itself, still ingrained in old school thinkers, where the younger generation is adopting more and more western ideals, and are more accepting of foreigners.
