What Will Europe Do

Featured Replies

Quote

With China’s economy suffering, however, Europe has an opportunity to show itself as an ally. China’s total debt is approaching 300% of GDP, leaving it one of the most indebted nations on the planet. Economic growth is stagnant. Youth unemployment is so high that China suspended reporting figures in 2023. Its real estate sector remains in deep turmoil. Export revenue is its main lifeline, and it just lost the U.S. market resulting in Fitch cutting its credit rating

Excellent article. When faced with cut price products from China, I doubt Europe will be able to resist.

The article criticises China for a policy aimed at making itself self-sufficient, whilst at the same time ignoring the fact that is one of the goals of Trump's current measures.

The article warns Europe about the dangers of being exploited by China whilst implicitly implying that we should simply follow the US without question.

An ill thought out, irrational article reeking of hypocrisy.

What will Europe do? Accept the Gun and the Knife of the CCP or stay in the realm of Freedom?

Which bully will the EU & the UK run with? The bully who is penalizing their exports through tariffs or the one that is dumping goods?

Not surprising that an extreme right wing media source like Real Clear Politics ignores what Trump is doing. The real question should be: Why is Trump treating the EU & UK like  adversaries rather than an as allies?

It is an perfect mirror article!

Of course Europe will look for best solution's, and to be fair, Usa doesnt look like an allie we can trust in the future for now.

Unpredictable and unreliable

China is 5 times x factor when you thinking of future marked value, and when thinking of Nato, Un, and other established world wide order we used to see as The western standard now falling apart, Europe need to look to Asia for better terms.
