Chinese Man Denied Bail for Pattaya Murder
A 42-year-old Chinese man, Tongyuen Fu, was denied bail on 28 April after being charged with the murder of a 25-year-old transgender woman in Pattaya. Authorities cited the seriousness of the crime and the risk of flight. Fu, escorted by armed officers and wearing a helmet and bulletproof vest, was taken to Pattaya Provincial Court amid high security following local outrage.
