A young massage therapist in Pattaya experienced an unfortunate turn of events when a thief stole her mobile phone while she dozed off on the pavement outside her parlour. Suphassara Somsuay, 19, from Sisaket province, released CCTV footage in hopes of identifying the culprit.

The incident occurred around 6am on May 3 outside a massage parlour on Pattaya Soi 4. The surveillance video captures Suphassara, in her work attire, asleep on the pavement. A figure, believed to be a transgender woman, soon appeared in the footage.

The suspect was dressed in a black sleeveless top, accompanying mini skirt, sneakers, and carried a shoulder bag. Exhibiting nervous behaviour, the suspect rifled through a nearby storage cabinet before casually sitting beside the slumbering massage therapist. With precision, she swiped Suphassara’s Vivo Y335 smartphone, worth approximately 8,000 baht, along with an ID card stored in the phone case, and slipped them into her bag before disappearing.

Reflecting on her night, Suphassara recalled, “After work, I went out for grilled pork with friends and had a bit too much to drink. When I got back to the shop at around 6am, the front door was locked. I was too tired to wait around so I lay down outside with my phone near my head. When I woke up, it was gone.”

Suphassara has since filed a report with the Pattaya City Police, providing the CCTV footage that clearly shows the suspect’s face. Her plea is straightforward, “I just want the thief caught. You can see everything clearly on the CCTV.”

Authorities are now working to track down the suspect, leveraging the detailed video evidence to bring justice and recover Suphassara's belongings.

19 year old massage girls ...... is that allowed?

Hopefully Pattaya soi 4 and the photo is enough to identify this reputable establishment to our readers, and she'll soon have enough donations from our generous forum members to buy a new phone.

Luckily the police didn't think to question this unfortunate young lady on her underage drinking the night before.

I love that title " massage therapist " as there's no prostitution in Thailand. I beg to differ as I know first hand but I will leave it at that.

Shouldn't we launch a "Go Fund Me" for her..................:w00t:

At least she still has her kidneys and other body parts. It could have been worse.
