A recent incident in Nakhon Ratchasima left motorists bewildered as a homeless man performed a martial arts dance in the middle of a busy road, forcing drivers to carefully navigate around him. The unusual event was captured on video by TikTok user @suttida.25, with the footage being shared widely online before it was removed.

 

The incident occurred on Sunday, 4th May, around 3 pm, detailing a shocking scene that caught the attention of teacher Nook, who was travelling from Bangkok to Surin at the time. Guided by GPS, she was led onto a route through Nakhon Ratchasima towards Cho Ho when traffic slowed, revealing the man in the left lane.

 

Initially alarmed, Nook began filming as she noticed the man holding what seemed to be a weapon. Upon closer inspection, it was clear that he was wielding an umbrella while performing martial arts maneuvers. Other drivers were seen carefully avoiding him, and a motorcyclist nearby seemed to have stopped to alert officials.

 

Despite the bizarre nature of the scene, Nook deduced that the man posed no real threat as he bore no dangerous weaponry. His antics, involving a jerry can and an umbrella as props, seemed more theatrical than menacing, leading her to speculate that he might be experiencing mental instability possibly influenced by the weather or other factors.

 

Nook, unfamiliar with the man, reflected on how similar incidents, though not seen in person by her before, often circulate online in different contexts. Surprised by the clip's attention, she later added a cautionary note encouraging drivers to give the man space and report the situation to authorities to ensure his safety and prevent accidents.

 

The viral clip serves as a reminder of the unpredictable encounters one might face on the road and underscores the importance of community vigilance and care for vulnerable individuals.
