  • The topic is that Palestine is being wiped off the map.   That's generally referred to as "ethnic cleansing".  Unless, of course, it's the good guys doing it.

It was anti Israeli propaganda at a time when we need to see the opposite

On the morning of 22 April 2025, the familiar sight of demolition machinery on the outskirts of Tuwani sent a wave of tension through the South Hebron Hills.

That day, the bulldozers claimed a family’s home and a nearby water cistern vital for survival in the arid landscape; no structure is safe because of a bureaucratic labyrinth that has been designed to gradually erase Palestinian presence from the land.

The process is methodical: Palestinians must obtain planning permission to build anything from houses to water tanks, but such permits are systematically denied in Area C, which comprises 60% of the West Bank;  this bind ensures that nearly all Palestinian structures exist under perpetual demolition orders, their destruction a question of when, not if.

Israeli Settlers are Erasing the West Bank

Palestine has always refered to an area of land rather than a state.  South East Asia is not a country nor is Central America nor is North Africa or Europe.

It was called Judea at the time .

Anyway , as history lessons aren't welcome, better to get back on topic

The Brits and the League of Nations referred to it as Palestine.

Just Google "British Palestine".

That's not what the League of Nations and the Brits said.  You're rewriting history.  Or trying to, anyway.

Palestine does not really exist. That why thousands of Judeans left the area when Israel was established. The judeans that stayed to be a thorn in the side of Israel were manipulated by Yasser Arrafat using money from the Gulf States. The sooner they leave the better.

The West bank was called Judea right up until 1948 when Jordon acquired the land and changed the name to the West Bank .

Israel still refers to the land by its original name. Judea

The LON & THE BRITS are not necessarily the sole arbiter of state hood in that area.

Israeli Settlers are Erasing the West Bank

So the settlers have a place to stay?

The term "Palestine" is first mentioned in the 5th century BCE by Herodotus in his Histories, referring to a district between Phoenicia and Egypt. The Romans later revived the name in the 2nd century CE as "Syria Palaestina"...

Nothing to do with them being forcibly removed from their homes and there land being taken from them then.

Yes, the world noticed that and so do those living in Gaza.

I have had this discussion way too many times to continue and to have it again .

You can find exactly the sane discussions , all the same back and forths in other threads .

This topic gets discussed regularly, almost on a weekly basis and it will end  up with the Philistines and the Temple of David getting a mention .

So, I will bail out on this occasion

Did not make it a country, even the Quran never mentions it. It's like saying New England or East Anglia are countries.

BRUQIN, West Bank (Reuters) -Israeli settlers torched Palestinian vehicles and houses in the occupied West Bank, Israel's army and villagers said, the latest in a series of attacks on the village of Bruqin, close to the location where a pregnant settler was killed this month.

Palestinian residents in Bruqin, who say they have faced constant attacks and abuse from Israeli settlers nearby, said a large group had shown up during the night, throwing Molotov cocktails and beating anyone in their way.

Akram Sabra, a resident of the village, said he had left his home to watch as dozens, possibly a hundred, people burned cars belonging to him and his family and threw a Molotov cocktail incendiary at his son's house.

Israeli settlers raid West Bank village close to where pregnant woman killed

An Israeli pregnant woman was murdered on the way to hospital to give birth , both the Woman and unborn baby were killed .

This is the response from the deceased woman's family and friends .

An unborn baby was murdered by Palestineians, this is the response

Your article says, the IDF had killed the attacker of that pregnant woman already and arrested several suspects, who might have helped him.

So what's the point of this response, except collective punishment of innocent people, while the (hopefully real) perpetrator had been punished already?

This attack was by members of the public , family members of the deceased retaliating for the murder of the pregnant woman

Yes, I understood that.

But the woman was killed on 14th of May and the IDF finally caught the murderer on the 17th of May and killed him.

By the way, other than in your statement, the baby survived.

However, the attacks of the settlers took place after the murderer had been identified and put down already, so again, what is the point?

An innocent woman was murdered, the perpetrator got what he deserved and now the settlers, who have illegally taken that land from its legal owners are taking revenge on them, despite they had nothing to do with it?

Yes, because they can. They're being protected by the IDF and seem to have the freedom to do and take as they please.
