The blue/yellow capsule is probably Mefenamic Acid (NSAID), and usually prescribed for menstrual cramps, or other discomforts.

White, too common, could be anything.

If it is Fenamic (mefenamic acid) it will have marking of Siam Pharm. He needs to show the markings of both.

OK, thanks for the prompt relies, I had the "Take" stuff worked out, I just wondered what they were.

They are for me, wife picked them up from the chemist, some sort of urinary track infection.

Definitely not an STD, my money would be long standing catheter damage.

I always ask before accepting, and if they don't tell what it is, I refuse them.   Been prescribed too many things incorrectly or unnecessarily.

The dual colour ones are anti-biotics. I assume you have a bacterial infection.

What antibiotic here comes in those colored capsules?

All antibiotics are coloured

This is not correct, there are antibiotics that are white. In fact the white tablet shown could be one, but impossible yo say without knowing the markings.

I cannot locate an antibiotic sold in Thailnd that comes in the blue and yelliw capules pictured.

OP should provide  info on markings .

Tell the doctors that because they think they are

Could be this (below) though a bit stronger than most antibiotics, so not prescribed as often.  Also for urinary tract infections (STDs), along with a few other things, that didn't respond other antibiotics, acne for example.  Usual broad spectrum antibiotic when others don't seem to work.

If an ongoing infection you've had and other meds not worked, could explain the script, if that was an issue.

As Sheryl states, really hard to guess without markings.

More than a few to guess at ...

Can anyone tell what these are and what they are usually taken for?

Google Translate squibbed out.

Sorry, I thought I'd rotated them but AN said no.

Go to the clinic where it came from.

Also, pharmacies can help.

If ongoing and nothing helps, time for gf, partner, wife to get checked as well.

You for real? Its highly dangerous to guess the drug based on a color of the capsule which could be anything depending on manufacturer or if its generic.

I guess yo missed the 'probably' part.   And if OP would have lead with why prescribed, then wouldn't have posted that at all.

I pretty sure OP realized, it was just that, a guess, and since a NSAID, not even applicable to his condition.

Glad you ignored my follow up posts, as wouldn't fit your spin ...

... carry on, what ever makes you feel good :cheesy:

Strange pharmacist didn't suggest that, or that info might not have been passed on.  Goes well with treating symptoms instead of causes, if the case, possibly not.

Although, he did state wife picked them up from pharmacist, so maybe she already got a dose or 2 for herself .. shh

Yes indeed, I take amoxycillin pills and they are orange and white.

I should have specified 2 colours as some may consider if an Aspirin (white) is an antibiotic.
