Police were called to a violent altercation on Pattaya Beach in the early hours of the morning of 19 May, where a confrontation between a group of transgender individuals and a number of foreign tourists escalated into a physical fight. The incident occurred at approximately 04:15 near a coconut tree-lined area of the beach. Officers from Pattaya City Police Station responded swiftly to the scene after receiving reports of a disturbance. Upon arrival, police found two groups, five to six individuals on each side, in a heated argument, with visible signs of physical injuries including bruises and cuts. Despite their injuries, both parties continued to argue aggressively and showed no sign of de-escalation. Authorities intervened and escorted all involved to Pattaya City Police Station for questioning. According to statements given by members of the transgender group, they had been standing by the beachfront coconut trees waiting to solicit clients when a group of intoxicated foreign tourists approached them to negotiate the price of sexual services. An agreement was reportedly reached at 3,000 baht, with a 1,000 baht deposit requested in advance. However, the transgender individual who accepted the deposit became wary due to the tourists’ apparent level of intoxication and insisted that another companion accompany her as a safety measure. The tourists subsequently changed their minds, withdrew from the arrangement, and demanded a refund of the deposit. An argument ensued, during which one of the transgender individuals attempted to intervene. At that point, the situation turned violent, with one of the tourists allegedly striking the individual with a bottle. This sparked a chaotic brawl, which was captured on video, showing both sides attacking and chasing each other. Amid the commotion, a local motorcycle delivery rider aged 29, became involved. While waiting to pick up a customer nearby, he witnessed what appeared to be the assault of a woman by foreign tourists. He parked his motorbike and set his phone down before attempting to intervene. The tourists reportedly broke free, grabbed a piece of wood from the roadside and attacked the rider, damaging his motorbike and phone in the process. Authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage and have launched an investigation to establish the facts and ensure a fair and transparent legal process for all involved. The Pattaya police confirmed that both groups were being questioned, and further legal action will depend on the outcome of ongoing inquiries. No names have been released by police at this stage, but the tourists are believed to be Israeli nationals. Adapted by Asean Now from Khaosod 2025-05-19. 1 1 15

Popular Post spidermike007 Posted 18 hours ago Popular Post Posted 18 hours ago The moral to the story is twofold, one is unless you live there it's best to just avoid Pattaya altogether, as it appears to be the crime capital of Thailand. Number two is if you're in Pattaya stay at least 10 to 20 meters away from any ladyboys, and do not engage them on any level. 3 5 3 6

still kicking Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Much of Thailand's crime is in urban areas where tourists congregate as they are easy targets, as well as where rampant prostitution and human trafficking feeds their vices. The prime areas of drug abuse are Bangkok, Phuket, and Pattaya, but not limited to these areas. 1

Popular Post webfact Posted 14 hours ago Popular Post Posted 14 hours ago Brawl on Beach: Israelis & Transwomen Clash Over Service Deposit Photo via Facebook/ ข่าวชลบุรีวันนี้ A dramatic altercation unfolded on Pattaya Beach Road today, May 19, between two Israeli men and several Thai transwomen, all now facing charges after a scuffle over a deposit for a sex service. The heated confrontation erupted after the men demanded their deposit back, igniting a brawl that was swiftly captured and shared across Thai social media. In the viral footage, one Israeli, clad in a black T-shirt, endured kicks and slaps from the transwomen, while his companion in elephant-patterned clothing attempted to intervene. However, both ultimately fled the scene, with the transwomen in pursuit. Shouts of “The black shirt! The black shirt!” filled the air as Thai bystanders tried to come to the transwomen’s aid, albeit unsuccessfully as the men disappeared from view. Channel 8 reports the fracas outside Baywalk Residence at 2.30am. Police from Mueang Pattaya Station arrived fast, managing to detain everyone involved. One of the transwomen explained to officers that a sexual service had been solicited by the Israeli man in black, who paid a 1,000 baht deposit, but the trouble began when his friend demanded its return. A refusal led the duo to try snatching her bag, triggering the skirmish. Thanadon, a 35-year-old hotel worker, recounted the chase that led the Israelis to seek refuge in a hotel. One transwoman pursued them wielding a wooden stick, with only one man successfully entering an elevator. His companion, captured just outside, was soon aided when the other returned wielding a rock to fend off the transwomen, who subsequently retreated to the beach road. Authorities have pressed charges against all participants for engaging in a physical altercation involving three or more people. Under Thai law, this offence could result in up to a year in prison, a fine of up to 20,000 baht, or both, awaiting those involved. Adapted by ASEAN Now from THe Thaiger 2025-05-20 1 4

renaissanc Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago One of Pattaya's biggest problems is the katoey population, which seems to be so violent and criminal. I doubt if the transgenders were so criminal and violent before they loaded themselves with hormones and chemicals. 2 2
