A short input here.    Built a house in Chiang Mai, now 14 yrs old.   Had 5 Daiken A/Cs installed.    No probems ever, just had them cleaned some yearly and some every 2 yrs, depending on use.

As Inspector Clouseau once bravely stated:

"I assume nothing."

Please check the outer casing of the condenser unit, the outdoor unit on those Panasonic machines.

It would be very helpful to know where these machines were manufactured.

The reason is that Panasonic produces ACs in China, Malaysia, and used to produce a few models in Thailand, and also produces in Japan and Taiwan.

It is crucial, in my opinion, to know where the AC is actually produced.

If you still have these machines, please check.

Thank you very much.

I have heard good things about the reliability of the Daikin ACs.

I purchased 3 Daikins, three for each condo in Zhongshan.

These machines were manufactured in China.

I believe they were good machines.

And, concerning the Daikin machines that you purchased 14 years ago:  In which country were these machines manufactured?  This would be helpful to know.

My Two Panasonic's both say Toyoko 2003

Haha.....!!!!!!!!!

This very simple location....

SAYS IT ..........    ALL......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I know what you are talking about.

And, yes....

The products made in Japan are amazing.

And, Panasonic (Matsu<deleted>a) (This site here does not allow me to  post the name of this Japanese company, obviously.) Japan is an amazing company that produces extremely reliable and premium products.

I AGREE.....10000 percent...!!!!

If you would not mind doing so....

Please check the outdoor unit of your Daiken machines.

And, if you would not mind, please report the location/country of manufacture.

This would be helpful.

Thank you.

I have four Electrolux units between 5 and 2 years old.

Quiet and no problems at all. Get them cleaned by the installer annually.

Do you have any Panasonic or Daikin machines running?

Do you have any experience with Daikin or Panasonic machines?

Because, I really MUST inform you:

THIS is the Topic, at hand, at this very moment.

Thank you.
