Farangs need to stop sending money to Thai girls while living abroad

Think of it as cheap therapy. The arrangement allows the sex worker to have a comfortable lifestyle with a minimum of effort. The  customer/sap/sucker/mark  has the thrill and joy of an "exotic" girlfriend. He has a reason to live and to dream.  At some point the person will  wise up after a confrontation with the  beneficiary and will move on to something else.

Why is she on a “leash”?

 

The guy sends her money and she is free to do what she wants while he isn’t with her in Thailand. How can he know what she does and with whom.

 

Many bar girls and massage girls have more than one sponsor.  They juggle them around while collecting money from each.
 

 Quite why you think they are hard done by I don’t know. They are free to stop whenever they want and free to live their life how they want.

Many years ago when internet cafes were around I was sending emails in one in Patong Phuket.

 

On the computer next to me, two very good looking girls were sending emails to Tom, Dick and Harry, to one, "I love your Terry I can not wait see you soon", "Gunther we had good time, come back see me, I love you, I wait", I know the contents as they were speaking Thai to each other, then came the English which they said to each other when they had decided what to write.

I had to laugh out loud, the girls looked at me and I smiled at them, they smiled back knowing I knew what they were doing, no embarrassment whatsoever on their part.

 

Now I am not one of those who think all Thai women are bad, in fact it is quite the opposite as far as I am concerned, but I have met many farangs who think negatively of Thai women as their experience of Thai women is due to the fact they have met them is some 'sexy massage place' (not to be confused with Traditional Thai Massage, use by couples etc), or met them in bars etc.

 

But I suppose the guys get their money's worth, they think they have helped some 'girl' to stay away from other (bad) guys and are a sort of girlfriend, it gives them a feeling of pleasure and belonging as they work a year in order to save up enough for their next trips so I suppose everyone is a winner in this situation. 😄

 

And so while many such girls have all that in place they are still coming out with sob stories in order to grab yet other guys to put on the sponsors list, they are very hard working it seem though. 🤣

She sort of started getting manipulative, but I do not plan to "rescue" her. 

I'll be avoiding that massage place.

This practice has been going on since time started.

 

There's nothing wrong with it and I would not be surprised if she had a few bf.

 

It's a win win in my books.  He has a partner waiting for him does not have to search.

 

She has a sugar daddy that helps her live a better lifestyle than her friends and does not have to go looking for handsum farang.

Reality is, that many of those girls are on many leashes without seriously being worried ....... as long as the cash rolls in. The do gooders and tree huggers of course will feel sorrow for those poor little things on a "leash", the rest is more realistic and wonders, how stupid men can be to fork out hard-earned money across continents simply because the are in the firm belief, that "their girl is different". 

Basics is; they want the cash only but do it considerably smarter and nicer (in most cases) than their Caucasian or African sisters 😉

It's not really cheating, it's a potential loss of income.
Everyone has to live.  Everyone has to make their choices on where their money comes from, and where it goes.

We don't have to do it for them, and we should let them do it for themselves, if necessary offering assistance, not criticism. Verstehst du?
