access denied to enter in thailand

I have a feeling its more to this story that the OP not telling.I been arriving 76 times and never had any problems.

They never ask for my return ticket only asked where i stay.And when i say the name of the hotel they run it and say ok.. enjoy ur stay.One time the lady officer ask me why im coming again and i joked and said for seing my mistress.

She told another lady officer to come to the desk and told her i arrived for meeting my mistress.They asked me how many i have and i said 11.We all laughing and stamped my passport when their shaking their heads.

But i seen people get arrested at the airport when try to get entry.

They want you to use the "fast track "- guaranteed and paid for entry. A friend had been in Thailand for a while in 2024 on visa exempts, went back to UK for a while and got a multi-entry tourist visa. On arrival in Bangkok, they wanted to refuse him entry. He argued his case. They told him "a visa does NOT guarantee entry". Eventually they let him in. He had to travel out again, so next re-entry, he used the "fast track" at about 4,000 Baht. Seems immigration at BKK are getting difficult in order to facilitate "fees". Likely shared amongst all the officers. 

 

How it works:

You contact an agent, they ask for a copy of you passport. You pay them in advance. They apparently get some sort of  "approval". On arrival, you meet the "agent" near the entrance to an immigration hall (1 or 2). They then escort you to a desk where you are stamped in with no questions.

come on, just use the safe entry. Who cares about these bipolar thai immigration officers, especially female officers! However, i think foreigners aren't no more welcome in thailand. I feel like there is even more racism from thai people. And who always invent these type of visas? Thai government! But then they don't want foreigners anymore!? Totally nonsense🙄☹️😖😦😮‍💨

This topic makes me think about that Israeli girl that said: my money built your country. Maybe she was feeling this type of racism from the locals

Its most likely because your ed visa stamp wasnt canceled and when the Imm questioned you your answer, even if true, matches the standard excuse of family emergency and when you couldnt answer what is considered an easy question you couldnt so he presumed you may be trying to play the system. you could try applying for a tr visa but may be denied for the same reason. You can try a fast track agent, tell them the whole truth, or a lwayer who can get you info but may not be much more help. I would make sure to explain the family emergency and that you want to clear and close the ED visa if necessary. Contact MOF on their FB page and ask them for guidance.

Don't waste the money to check to see if your blacklisted. I can assure you with 100% accuracy, you are most definitely not banned.

 

You, (like many thousands of people each week), were just denied entry to Thailand.

 

It's not blacklisting, all it means is on this attempt they didn't let you in.

 

Check the last couple pages of your passport because what's happening now is people are not getting the half-page denial of entry stamp anymore but they are getting a small notation written on one of the last two pages of their passport that say 12.2

 

That refers to the immigration act clause 12 section 2. I've included the screen grab

 

As people have said use a safe entry company, which is not to be confused with a fast track entry company. They are completely different things.

 

Safe entry, get you into the country no matter what your previous entry history was and no matter if you have been denied entry previously.

 

Fast track entry, just jumps the queue and gets you to the front of the immigration line, but you face the immigration officer on your own and if your previous entry/stay history is excessive they can still deny you entry.

 

Here's two images of denial of entry stamps one shows somebody was denied in 2023 and then again in April of this year, and the other is just the denial they got in Jan 2025. BOTH those stamps were on the last page(s) of the passports <- so they're not easily noticed by people who get denied 😮

OP should have told the Immo officer that he was a student in a Thai boxing course -- and could demonstrate the basics right there and then.

For those unaware.

 

Section 12, subsection 2, of the Thai Immigration Act, B.E. 2522 (1979), states that aliens are excluded from entering the Kingdom if they have "no appropriate means of living on entering the Kingdom." This means they must be able to financially support themselves while in Thailand. 

 

It's the catch-all "insufficient funds" reason.

You should be able to enter with a new visa, the problem is if you go to an immigration office for an extension you will need to clear this overstay. 500 baht per day up to a maximum of 20,000 baht.

Not sure your reason for insisting on returning to Thailand. The IO have smelled a rat in your intention meaning the visa you had applied for and your last method of coming to Thailand does not satisfy their requirement to allow you entry. Was it that the IO was in a bad mood, can’t say but it is what it is.
