Hey all,

Here's my question : I did a first ever 90 days reporting in person in Chiang Mai in January. I then left Thailand mid-February and came back on the 25th of February.

I'm now due a new 90 days report. I've done it online this morning and sent it successfully but it's been on "pending" since this morning. I see too many conflicting info online that I need to do it in person even though it's my second report.

Do I need to go in person tomorrow morning ?

Thanks a lot in advance.

It will be first report online since reentering Thailand from abroad.

You do it in person.

Regards, doing it tomorrow... In person you can do it up to 7 days late.

Since you have done it online, may as well wait for rejection

Ah I see, I thought once you've done it once in person you can do it online all the time since you're in the system...

All right then, I'll just go tomorrow in person just to be done with it.

Cheers.

Previously if returning to regular address on same visa or reentry permit from a road it was not required.

Then they wanted to sync TM30 with TM47 or something ridiculous.

Let's hope it changes at some point in the future.

Your 90 day report was due 25th May (not today 29th)

Day 1 of the count starts on the date of arrival.

You can submit online at CM up to 14 days before, up to the due date, but in the case of leaving the Country and reentering you must submit the first report in person.

In person, you can submit up to 6 days after the due date.
You can submit in person tomorrow (30th) or the last day (to avoid a fine) on Wednesday 4th June.
(Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd June are national holidays).

If you just did it this morning you are already passed  90 days, the 25th of May would have been your 90th day. Some offices require you to submit it between 15 days early and 7 days before as the only time frame. Since this was your first 90 day report since returning from out of country you would have to do it in person.

That requirement seems to be exclusive to CW.

Small tip. If folk Google their entry date + 89 days then you receive new due date.

In OP case he reentered Feb 25.

The result spits out.....

"Your starting date is February 25, 2025 so that means that 89 days later would be May 25, 2025."

Yes, I'm aware that I was technically late but not too late to be fined. All good.

I'm going tomorrow.

By the way, I've updated my TM30 online on Monday (I was away for a few nights few days before that in another city).

I guess my TM30 is up to date then ? Or does it need to have the same date as when you go and do your 90 days report ?

No immigration office in Thailand will accept an online report after the due date. The 7 day grace period must always be done in person.

About every IO has their OWN policy on when / how / where to do TM-30's and TM-47's

The best bet is to ASK AT YOUR LOCAL OFFICE what is their policy.

My office is extremely strict on ALL paperwork - THEIR POLICY and every IO policy is almost different.

Example: I moved from BKK, went to the local IO to do a TM-30 as required.  I was also required to do a TM-47 (90 day) after doing the TM-30 ..... GO FIGURE, a TM-47 after TM-30 on SAME day????

Also my office compairs the TM's for the same address.

Which immigration office.

The TM47 should not have been required unless it was, due.

Related question, re-entered Thailand on May 27th, Non-immigration 1yr visa extension up on August 23rd.  Will the visa extension renewal satisfy the 90 day reporting since I have to do that before the 90 days are up?  Thanks in advance!

Some immigration offices do a 90 report at same visit for extension.

Even if report window is not open.

Meaning they do it early.

If your report window is open you can do the TM47 report.

You would do the extension first and then do the 90 report.

Which immigration office?
